How so?

If much of the population believes resistance is futile or change is impossible then it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

No one wants to to engage or participate in shaping their own society’s future if they think their efforts are meaningless.

When people go around saying everything is rigged, nothing matters, and both sides are equally bad they’re espousing a view that makes mobilization to combat the underlying problems more difficult.

I suppose that in the case where someone is throwing their hands up in the air saying "well, Trump is corrupt and horrible, but both sides!!", you could be right.

But you can be a person whose beliefs fall somewhere in the gray area of "most politicians suck and we need systemic change" without still being a partisan within those bounds, or using Hillary as a "yeah, but!".

I will say that shaming people for voting third party probably contributes to making them think their efforts are meaningless. I think Democrats should be trying to win those people over, not shaming them.

Reports of WH Counsel McGahn interviewing for over 30 hrs with Mueller seem like forever ago, but not forgotten:

Bring on the Mueller report

How is the WH being briefed on the investigation into their own activities?! This is the most transparent coverup I can imagine...

Someone leak this thing already.

In true mob style, probably only Trump and maybe Jarvanka know everything. The rest of them know their role and what they've been told, which is likely lies. They don't know the whole truth, which is why anyone that didn't fully cooperate with Mueller is foolish. The guilty ones also don't know what Mueller has caught them for. Hence the briefing and pants shitting.

The Democrats will never win the Anasatsises of the world over.

Barr refused to address Congress' question of whether he had already shared / leaked the findings of Mueller's report to Team Trump, which means of course he has.  The delay in producing the redacted report is not because it is taking so long to redact it, but because Team Trump is using the time to refine their "counter-report" so that they can release it (and the Fox-friendly talking points) at the same time as the Mueller report.

I expect the visible Mueller report to provide a lot of support and context for pending indictments from the farmed out investigations and for kicking off impeachment hearings in the House.  The latter will permit/necessitate Congressional access to the full un-redacted report.

Seems like the completely normal ramblings of an innocent person.  I mean honestly, who could see this and not think there is something seriously wrong with him?  40% of America I guess.

Y’all keep talking about “35-40%”. I think that’s way low. More like mid to high 40s who will forever be duped by Trump/ Fox

Somehow managing to bankrupt a casino.

Suing the NFL and winning $1.00. About $3.00 with interest.

Filing for bankruptcy 7 times.

Being a fat orange piece of shit.

Crapping on McCain’s grave.

Watching hookers piss on Obama’s bed.

Acting very weird around and saying strange things about his daughter.

Being a pussy opting out of the Vietnam war based on a complete lie.

Saying after 911 he now owned the tallest building in New York.

I could literally go on forever with this post but I got to eat dinner. I’ll continue it later on. Meanwhile maybe you should post the positive things your hero has done.

Emoluments

Abuse of power--falsely accusing his political adversaries of committing crimes, threatening the press protected by the First Amendment, telling CBP head to break the law and that he'd pardon him

Breaking campaign finance laws to get elected

Nothing is off the table, really.  What Barr did in his 4 page note has no real bearing on what Congress decides to do based off of Mueller's un-redacted report.  If Congress initiates the "judicial proceeding" of impeachment, a lot more evidence (i.e. pertaining to grand jury) gets handed over to Congress for inclusion and review.

Why answer the question?  He doesn't want an answer.  He doesn't care.  He's just throwing the same shit against the wall, over and over.  Fuck him.

I asked because Nancy Pelosi doesn’t seem to think there’s enough there, or it’s not worth it. If it were a slam dunk she’d be angling for it. Just curious what y’all are expecting to see that will finally get Trump.

"Just curious".  It's been posted on this thread probably hundreds of times.
