We used to call that a "trap" back in the day. 

He never bobbled it. It allowed to touch now as long as he doesn’t bobble it. Who cares. It was inevitable.

I believe it should have gone with the call on the field.

You could kind of see that when the right elbow hit the ground, it jarred the right hand off the ball and he didn’t really have control when it touched the ground.

But I’m making a couple of inferences to reach that conclusion, and I’m not sure that’s allowed.

Control doesn’t mean hands. He had it without bobbling. He could secure it with his sick and balls if he wants, full control all the way through.

I believe the rule is that you have to have a hand underneath it, which did not appear to be the case.
