Oh, like Paxton could be bothered to come up with something original.  You people don’t understand how much time grifting of the people takes. It’s damn hard work and he can’t be bothered by losers like you all.  Haters all of you.

I don’t get why trumpers think SCOTUS will just roll over and give him anything he wants.

All of them know their decisions will be dissected for a very long time. They also don’t want their names mentioned in the same breath with Joseph McCarthy, J Edgar Hoover and Nixon. I know trump doesn’t care about this but when Cruz and that lot start thinking about this I hope they reverse course. As a guy who always voted Republican before 2016 I plan on actually doing volunteer work for Democrat candidates to get these cancers out of Texas as soon as possible. From a guy that can’t be bothered to do any civics work ever.

SCOTUS Justices will be around long after Trump is gone next month.

Cruz is only angling for the MAGA base, nothing more or less - he thinks the way is clear for 2024.  He knows he can't win against SCOTUS, but it gives him rep points for the red hat crowd.

Well yeah. We all know Cruz’s motives. My hope is when all Trumps dirty deals are starting to be exposed after he leaves office it “may” make a few dumbasses see the light. I will be 1st to admit when the Bill Cosby stuff happened I was like “no way”. After about the 5th or 6th I was damn, how stupid am I.

Apparently, Louisiana and Alabama are trying to join in on the Texas filing. Which on its face is hilarious and predictable that two of the dumbest states would pile on, but you know ESPN is just itching to award Trump the Presidency once enough SEC states join.

Come on, Mississippi. Don't be a pussy.

Shit a good number of people on this board have thought that.

I was one of them, but you and the other brilliant legal minds patiently went through case by case in this thread and allowed for dumb and repetitive questions without so much as a sigh, so thanks for laying it out in a plain and concise manner. It's been quite a stroll through the legal system and at almost 100 pages, you all ought to start billing the rest of us. Wait, never mind about that last bit.

Can’t wait for TTom to wake up in a day or two and learns his gal Amy Coney Barrett, the ultimate insurance policy, had zero interest overthrowing democracy after all the faith he put in her. Should be delightful television.

Also the answer you get if you ask my youngest daughter who the meanest person in the history of the world is.

That answer is Dwight Clark...

I’ll take the under. He’s sick. Well get to see the next step in his descent into madness up close and personal. At this point I don’t think anyone here would be surprised that he’s got a Steve buscemi people to kill list that he’s writing out in lipstick.

I wish that was so. However having a friend from high school that made bad decisions after bad decisions the later in life it became the worst it became. I finally had to block him. I heard from his brother he finally went to mental illness specialist and he got diagnosed as bi-polar. I saw many days of manic behavior that now explains much of his behavior. Toms behavior late at night makes me think this is the case. He doesn’t care about issue, just that he gets to argue. I almost sent him a pm saying to take a nap.

It is also possible that TTom is a dry drunk.  He's been struggling with alcoholism for a while and seemed to refuse to accept AA.

An alcoholic can get sober, but if he doesn't adjust his ways of thinking and dealing with the world, sobriety can be worse than drinking.  AA is one way of doing that, there are some others, but they all require getting honest with yourself and coming to grips with things in your past, among other difficult personal work.

Ok, that's weird.

That notice of appeal is defective because it does not specify the court of appeals to which the appeal is taken.

The clerk of the court must have filled in the Federal Circuit by accident or default.

Also nice mixture of fonts.  JFC.

Unfortunately, they have 30 days to file a notice of appeal, so there's plenty of time to fix this.

You think TTard has been asleep? He hasn't slept in a week.  He is on a meth fueled bender that won't stop until his sponsor steps in.

Well, she certainly answers the question..."What if toes could become lawyers?"

Yes. If you start from the presumption that everyone votes for the exact same party they did in 2016. If you assume that, then it’s impossible for Biden to gain votes. Therefore, he cheated. QED.

I’d sure like to see the methodology at work behind that claim.

I’m sure she’s got some paper stacks she can wave around.
