the NFL needs to expand the roster to 60.  Just much talent left with no jobs and then teams get so thin with injuries. If the NBA can expand, why not the NFL? It's such shitty management.

Owners don't want to give up more money, and players don't want the existing share of the revenue to be spread further.

A player who has never played a snap of football gets drafted before Big12 DL of the year. I hope CDC is starting to get the fuck out of this clusterfuck of a conference.

That’s more a problem with NFL FOs. A lot of them are still looking for jeans models more than guys who can actually play.

The Chiefs drafted Khalil McKenzie, who exclusively played DT in college and was a bust of a prospect, to play OG in the NFL.

Do none of these other guys have problems with weed?

Well, 4 Longhorns (2018) is better than 1 (2017). Disappointed about Poona.

Poona is on the Seahawks draft board so if he goes undrafted he’ll get a shot.  At this point going undrafted may be better because you choose what team you go to.

We're going to have more than 4 make rosters.  Poona and Hill will stick... assuming Hill gets his head out of his ass.  He's a 1st round athletic talent, no doubt.  He also has an UDFA head... he needs to fix that.

I honestly don't know how good Poona is for the NFL standard, but he's a hard worker and seems to have a great persona. But if the NFL has "character issues" with some questionable players, you to think that they would also Vault up a decently talented player who shows nothing but heart and effort.

Otherwise, it just seems like a meat market.  So don't patronize me with talk about "character".

Well, maybe there's a team out there that sort of once him but didn't want to spend a choice on him. Good luck working out for then via free agency.

What did or didn’t he do?  Would weed alone drop a player so far?

Yes, in spite of what seems like half the country legalizing, it's still illegal on the federal level and NCAA the NFL is drawing players from. Of course teams are willing to overlook something like that, but you have to be a near sure fire difference maker as player to make the risk worthwhile. In any case, we gotta be real about HH. He had a decent but not great Freshman year, horrible Soph slump and was on his way to a great year as a junior before being suspended halfway through the season. No combine invite, pretty sure he wasn't even at Texas pro day...who knows if he even stayed in shape?

He’ll be taking the spot of the B12 defensive lineman of the year....who wasn’t even drafted. Guess he has to start thinking about transferring again if he wants to get drafted.
