Yeah I can't really make sense of when a cancellation/delay is or isn't called for in this league

Interesting implications for fantasy football. Does Freeman (if it is Freeman) go out there and get 25 carries?

I think rescheduling happens when they aren't sure about the contact tracing/who might have come into contact with the virus.

All because the players wouldnt wear a mask

You have absolutely no idea what caused them to get Covid. I know you are highly experienced in inserting catheters and changing bed pans but masks are law in Denver in Denver.

The Saints were 6-point favorites before the Broncos' quarterback situation was disclosed Saturday night, causing most sportsbooks to halt betting on the game. Las Vegas sportsbook Circa Sports reopened the line at New Orleans -13. The point spread quickly grew to Saints -14. Caesars Sportsbook by William Hill reposted the line with the Saints favored at -14.5

Losing all 3 backup QBs is bad enough, losing them the day before your game leaving no real ability to gameplan (wildcat, etc....) seems like it would result in more than an 8.5 pt difference in the spread. Hell, they have already  lost 3 games this season (KC, LV, TB) by 15+ with QBs, albeit shitty ones.

Saints will go super conservative knowing double digits points should be enough to win. They'll dominate and win like 17-6

Oh no !!  What will the NFL do ?  I remember back when the NFL was the actual NFL, and when the starting QB would get hurt, and the second stringer would come in the announcers, usually Pat Summerall, and Tom Brookshire, would begin talking about who'd be the third string QB if this guy got hurt, inevitably it was the guy who'd been his HS QB.

The NFL stopped that from happening. killing the one more thing that made it a sport everybody (who'd played) could identify with.

If this happened to say New England, Baltimore (they already did it), Kansas City, Seattle, New Orleans, Green Bay you best believe they would postpone the game so they can find a QB. No matter if they followed protocol or not. But it's Denver, they suck and no one gives a fuck about them right now. And they are playing the Saints so game on. Literally the day before the game they tell them they have no QBs to play.

Remember San Fran this year? They made them play with almost no WR to play with. They were all out. Who were they playing? Green Bay. They told them tough shit. The second Baltimore got a few positive tests and one was Lamar , postponed. Like right away. No questions asked. Goodell isn't even trying to show favoritism. He's protecting the teams who will be there in the playoffs.
