This is . . . surprising.

I didn't think IU would get blown out like this but Vegas favoring them was really dumb. There must be a lot of delusional IU fans with gambling problems.

Announcers are not actually in-person, right?  That has to be part of what is making Walton worse than usual.

Correct.

We are averaging a 20 point win through 3 games.  It doesn’t feel that way but damn this team has a chance to surprise a lot of fans.

ave score 78.3 - 58.3.

I’m kind of worried I’m going to end up like Walton bc of how much weed I’ve smoked in quarantine

I think you also need the elbows to the head that is the more critical factor

Good game for Horns... Saw some better game management decisions at times by players.  Surprising that Indy didn't play more zone against the HORNS.

WOOF.... Did Indiana play poorly though.

Well and Pasch isn't there to control him.

I was seriously gonna say will baker part 2 coming your way. I know he will kick it in and start scoring but i was expecting and hoping a dominate 5 star that comes in dropping 15-20 a game.

Don't know why you ever thought he was a shooter he shot like 16% from the 3pt line in EYBL? His stats playing high school ball at Vandergrift are irrelevant.

If we get out to a 10+ point lead in the first half, its an automatic bet for me (unless we are playing some chump team like Rio Grande). You get +300 or more, and its definitely been a profitable angle as we shit the bed against teams with a pulse more than 1 in 3 times.

*1 in 4. You only need to win 25% of +300 bets to break even.

I know we're up by 17 and all...

...but we still look like we suck.

I had this game on mute, and was working at same time -- but I agree that what I was able to watch was underwhelming...

Defensive effort was awesome, but let's not start sucking each others dicks quite yet, we shot 38% from 2-pt land, 28% from 3-pt range.

Lacking a pure shooter as always.

Eh, that's a tough standard.  Coleman is at 0.5/0.375/0.875 as a shooter.  That's pretty hard to argue with.  I'll take it for sure.

well i also put my expectation was for a 5 star  to come in and be our best scorer dropping at least 15-20 a game. He isn't shooting well or scoring well. I know he will pick it up but shaka has a way of making guys look meh and so far Greg Brown definitely looks meh, besides a dunk here or there. I blame that all on shaka.

Unless you're talking about uber talents like Durant, freshmen forwards like Greg Brown rarely come in dropping 15 to 20 ppg. Especially not on a guard dominant team that is as experienced as ours. And especially not 3 games into the season. Today he was dealing with ridiculous foul trouble all game long and only played 12 minutes. He never really had a chance to get into the game.

I wish we had freshman Kevin Durant too
