Eureka!

Move "LIFE IS" to the end of the whole thing, not the end of that section. Then reverse it.

It becomes...

I HOPE YOU ARE HAVING LOTS OF FUN IN TRYING TO CATCH ME THAT WASNT ME ON THE TV SHOW WHICH BRINGS UP A POINT ABOUT ME I AM NOT AFRAID OF THE GAS CHAMBER BECAUSE IT WILL SEND ME TO PARADICE ALL THE SOONER BECAUSE I NOW HAVE ENOUGH SLAVES TO WORK FOR ME WHERE EVERYONE ELSE HAS NOTHING WHEN THEY REACH PARADICE SO THEY ARE AFRAID OF DEATH I AM NOT AFRAID BECAUSE I KNOW THAT MY NEW LIFE WILL BE AN EASY ONE

IN PARADICE DEATH IS LIFE

Alternatively just take the "life is" and "death" sections out entirely...

I HOPE YOU ARE HAVING LOTS OF FUN IN TRYING TO CATCH ME THAT WASNT ME ON THE TV SHOW WHICH BRINGS UP A POINT ABOUT ME I AM NOT AFRAID OF THE GAS CHAMBER BECAUSE IT WILL SEND ME TO PARADICE ALL THE SOONER BECAUSE I NOW HAVE ENOUGH SLAVES TO WORK FOR ME WHERE EVERYONE ELSE HAS NOTHING WHEN THEY REACH PARADICE SO THEY ARE AFRAID OF DEATH I AM NOT AFRAID BECAUSE I KNOW THAT MY NEW LIFE WILL BE AN EASY ONE IN PARADICE

LIFE IS DEATH

Some "specialists" are saying they think they solved who he is:

Cold case team says Zodiac Killer ID'd, linking him to another murder
The Zodiac Killer terrorized the San Francisco area in the late 1960s and has never been caught

Seems like rock solid proof.  Case closed.

It's been fascinating watching some of these old cases get solved by DNA (99%) and other methods. EARONS and Zodiac maybe the two most high profile out there that have been solved / likely solved. There have been several local cases across Texas solved during the last year. I heard today there might also be a lead on the Maura Murray case.

These 'experts' suck at writing clearly. Even reading their own website and press releases, I'm not clear on what 'irrefutable' evidence they have.

See:

These latest 'experts' are total crack pots.

Here's what the same group did on the DB Cooper case:  https://thecasebreakers.org/2021/04/pi-team-skyjackers-confession-unmasked-in-army-coded-letter/

They 'decoded' a letter that was already written in plain English and found DB Coopers real name.

DBC-Letter-6-3-28-72-Typed-Note-Message-

Quote

He decoded “through good ole Unk” to mean “by hijacking one jet plane,” using a system of letters and numbers. “And please tell the lackey cops” was decoded to mean “I’m LT Robert W. Rackstraw,”

It's odd, because my decoding of those same phrases using my super-secret magic decoder ring is "You're a stupid wanker"

Yeah, it doesn't read very clearly, but what I think they're saying is, that Poste ran a small gang of criminals where they would run various crimes to include murder (they just say a "posse" in the article). There was another murder that occurred which Poste is suspected of having committed due to him being in the area at that exact time, despite not living there, his "posse," and a watch with paint on it found at the scene (Poste painted houses for work). They also think Poste was in the area for the Zodiac deaths, and even has the same forehead creases/scars from the sketches. So I think what they were trying to say is "if we can pin him to this murder down S, which the police don't believe, then we can link him to the Zodiac ones"

The east area rapist case was actually solved, by DNA.

The zodiac has not been solved, except by the crackpots above.

if the information you’ve provided us is true, then this may involve someone named “Allen” and his siblings - am I on the right track here?

There's a ton of circumstantial evidence against Allen, and that Netflix series only adds to it.  If those Seawater siblings are telling the truth, the case against Allen just got even stronger.  But the series glossed over the fact that the cops could never marshal any physical evidence against Allen despite serving multiple warrants.  And the initial handwriting analysis failed to show a match.

I know very little about that Gary Francis Poste guy.  In scanning the article about the "Case Breakers," a lot of the "evidence" seemed very thin and/or speculative.

Barring some sort of DNA match, I don't think we'll ever know for sure who the Zodiac was.

The doc is wild.  Sounds like the Seawater mom might have known Allen’s guilt and buried it.  He was also a serial pedophile.

I’ve looked at Allen as a prime suspect but until this testimony by the Seawaters it really puts the the full spotlight on him.  The fact that he took the kids on trips to all of the murder locations prior to each murder, the cipher with the seawater girl’s mother’s maiden name had to be more than coincidence.  The drugs.  The riverside murder when he was down there.  The various confessions and allusions. His conversations about hunting humans and the “shooting little kiddies” statement to his friends.     It’s chilling.  He was a brilliant man with a strong affinity for complex puzzles and ciphers so he would have the ability to craft a near perfect murder.

The inclusion of the maiden name (or a name very close to it) from that cipher was the most significant piece of physical evidence from that series, IMO.  It was kind of a "whoa" moment for sure.

But I know lots of Zodiac-philes have been questioning whether that cipher is legit because it was received by an Albany paper (all of the Zodiac's other communications had been received in CA) years after the killings known to have been committed by the Zodiac occurred, and because the writing seems different from the other ciphers that authorities are certain came from the Zodiac.

One can definitely understand how/why so many people have "gone down the rabbit hole" and are completely wrapped up in investigating this case.  It's really fascinating.

The Netflix documentary while entertaining has an agenda. They almost always do. Their agenda was to prove Arthur Leigh Allen was the Zodiac based on circumstantial evidence and interviews with Seawater kids.

The circumstantial evidence looks bad for Allen. The physical evidence probably exonerates him:

1) Saliva/DNA from a stamp from a verified Zodiac letter wasn’t a match for Allen.

2) They lifted some good prints off of his first murder. Again, Allen wasn’t a match.

3) They took handwriting samples of both hands, and didn’t move forward on arresting Allen.

4) Police served search warrants on his residence in the 70s and again in 1991, and again didn’t make an arrest.

I’ll give SFPD some credit. A less professional police force would have coerced a confession.

Allen was an anonymous, lonely, sex offender. People thinking he’s a the Zodiac is the only interesting aspect of his life. Of course he enjoyed the attention.

The Seawater stuff is sick and quite sad. I think the mother knew and took money or sexual favors from Allen in exchange for unfettered access to her kids.

I didn’t take the documentary like that at all. It was just presenting the Seawater’s story. Also I don’t think it’d be hard to have someone else lick a stamp for you.

I wasn't aware of this. With the modern tools available and often used for these very purposes, surely they can use that DNA to find a match.

I think there’s potential issue with the DNA from the stamp - may not have been taken from the back of it or something like that, so the potential profile is wrong.

the circumstantial/coincidental evidence against allen is pretty substantial, but listening to the stories of the (now adult) kids combined with the evidence is enough to convince me that he’s the guy. when i think about the phrase “beyond a reasonable doubt”, lacking any dna evidence or any sort of smoking gun, i feel like the evidence here, both factual and anecdotal, is so overwhelming that it approaches the line of being beyond a reasonable doubt.

oh yeah, and i 100% believe that the mom either knew for a fact that he was the zodiac, or that they had a sort of “don’t ask/don’t tell” understanding, and that she got off on that. her son tells her that mr.allen drugged both kids and raped the daughter, and that he says he’s the zodiac, and the mom laughs it off and chalks it up to his jocular nature. yeah right. this lady knew.
