So they were saying on the Fox morning show there’s no way ATM makes the final four. Even with a Clemson loss to ND. Don’t see it happening but what if ND beats Clemson convincingly? Clemson still makes CFP? Just curious.

If we pull this out and Bama destroys UF it's a 2-loss CLemson with a win over Miami (2 loss) vs a 1 loss A&M with a win over UF (now 3 losses) vs Cincinatti.

Nope even in that scenario It's A&M/

Now if this ends 45-3,  ND is out and a 2nd SEC team is in over Cincinatti.

name them

Ossai and Cosmi for sure would start or get majority snaps on both of these teams. Overshown would likely get a look - certainly at ND. Taquon would get snaps on either team. A healthy Sam would probably start over Book on ND. Bijan and a healthy Whitt would get plenty of looks on either of these teams. They'd probably find a way to use Rojo. Neither of these teams would waste Wiley. Josh Moore might get a look on either team - probably ND for sure. Jamison would KR/PR for both teams.

This narrative that we have a players problem needs to go away.

we have a players problem and a coach problem when we have 2 guys that would start for either of these teams.

This.

Overshown would certainly find significant PT. Coburn would probably get plenty of PT for ND.

A case can also be made for guys that TO ruined: BJ Foster, Chris Brown, and Josh Thompson. People forget that both Clemson and ND have enjoyed years of competent coaching and development in schemes that actually work. Most of these starters have spent 3, 4, and in some cases 5 years being developed under these staffs.

I bet one of their WR coaches would make Eagles seem like a terror at the collegiate level, too.

The recruiting rankings are NOT somehow accurate for everyone except of us.

Don’t want too much of a blowout. There needs to be zero possibility that aggy gets in

Yeah, that is my fear as well.

Fear?  Since bending over for OU more times than I care to look up, why not hope Aggy success is the real last straw to kick Belmont’s ass into gear?

Whatever it takes ...

I asked for starters, not guys that would get snaps

Chris Fowler and his Dos XX commercial is treading on Chris Berman levels of annoying.

I’m tired of the commercials with this “out of tune” singing/music. Like it’s tone deaf sounding. FedEx Christmas one,  that skin medicine commercial, etc...is this a new generation thing?

ATM may still have a shot at the CFP...ugggh.

Who know how our players would have done had they chose to go to Alabama or Clemson.

judging from other Texas players who have gone to those schools seems like they would be very very good

That's a terrible question, considering the fact that we have a player development problem. Use your imagination. Outside of OL, plenty of guys on our roster would be developed into the starting lineup for either of these teams.

This is brewing good for aggy. ND getting blown out can tarnish their reputation and talk about them being the same ol same ol pretenders and a waste of a spot in the playoffs. That thought will definitely cross the committee's mind.

Well, they lose by two or more TDs then their earlier win over Clemson (no Trevor) won’t pass the “eye test” for the committee. They won’t put in Cincy. If Florida plays a competitive game tonite...geez.
