John Salley.

Wilt.

That's all I got.

Whats crazy is that fucking Danny Green is on an even shorter list of guys to WIN with 3 different teams.

Nice adds. Your Wilt add makes me think that if it has happened it was in the pre merger NBA when there were less teams. Like I totally spaced that Wilt had stints on 3 teams.

Why can I tell that that girl said something borderline racist? People that sue celebs like this because they know they have money are the scum of the earth.

Rondo's girl has some hands. Power couple.

That's quite the takeaway from that video.

I'm just guessing. I don't know what prompted it but the entire situation seems innocuous until she clearly says something pretty nasty. That Karen finger point is unmistakable. Maybe they both said some shit.

Either way - suing someone for $1M because you got slapped in the face a couple of times is a piece of shit move. Just preying on his celebrity. She wouldn't be taking it to court if that was some homeless crackhead hitting her.

I saw it as a chick with a rich boyfriend protecting her turf.

I dunno. It's tough to tell. Rondo's girl seemed postured aggressively from the start and we have no idea how it started or what was said.

I would agree with you in a situation where someone seeks out a celebrity to instigate, but I don't think that was the case here. Masks, and it's not like Rondo is a household name that some white chick is going to know, and he's a "normal person" height so I doubt the girl even knew.

But Rondo pushed her. Can't do that. Stupid games, stupid prizes, etc. He has to know better.

"The plaintiff chose to park her car two inches from Mr. Rondo’s door, and the plaintiff was not in an assigned parking spot. The plaintiff refused to wear a mask during a short 30 second encounter, and also refused to move her car." lawyer Mark Baute told TMZ. "The plaintiff and Mr. Rondo’s girlfriend had an unpleasant encounter that lasted roughly 10 seconds, and Mr. Rondo tried to prevent them from any further interaction, which was awkward due to (a) his thumb being broken, and (b) the plaintiff not wearing a mask. "

Rondo's lawyer huh.

I mean I think we all agree that people who park like that should be shot into the sun. But it's still not justification for assault.

I thought Karen was trying to check him about his car.   Either way whatever she said it was a magic word and she caught all them hands.    It looked like the gf was trying to call someone (assuming the police) to settle the matter then the chick stepped up

I think you mean battery. Assault looks to be going both ways here.

She talked shit and she got hit. Doesn't excuse Rondo's girl at all. It does make the lawsuit pretty trivial and shameless.

What??!! Chuck is a national treasure

He's a fucking clown who never hesitates to say how much he hates basketball.     Never offers any actual basketball analysis and isn't all that funny anymore.    He and Shaq are basically Statler and Waldorf at this point.

Who knows. Definitely agree on the "magic word" part. That much was immediately evident to me as well.

Poor Rondo 😂

Agree with all of this. This is one of those "both sides are dumbasses" things from what I see. I have no problem with a lawsuit. A million is obviously excessive. But both he and his chick are lucky they didn't catch a charge. Being a celebrity goes both ways.

Someone will eventually trade for him but I cant imagine a contender would want this asshole on their team.   The Nets should be 100% out!   They don't need him at all.

Fuck that guy.   HOU should let him rot on the bench or ship his ass off to SAC or some other shit franchise.

On the Barkley / KD thing, that's the second post game interview I've seen with Durant in the past few days where he's come off like a brooding jerk. How is it even the same guy from the "You the real MVP" speech?

I think Chuck has been laying it on Kyrie lately (probably somewhat justifiably) so that was his way of getting back at him. Definitely getting an "it's us vs. the world" vibe from them.

This is correct.  Chuck wants to criticize without accountability.  He is very pointed, which is why the audience likes him, but players aren't going to go for that shit and so he shouldn't be surprised (looked like he laughed about it), when they give him the cold shoulder.  And fans shouldn't be surprised either.  TNT was shit last night..... here's another weird moment.

More awkward than having Doc coach you when you fucked around on his daughter with a stripper?

Chuck was just saying before the game that he didn't give credit to Kyrie's or KD's titles.    He said he doesn't give credit to "riders" for titles.

Then later when they were talking about him not having a title he said that it takes a team to win a title.    Those two points directly contradict one another.

Lol. I was seeing what reddit had to say and it's a bunch of people bashing KD in the comments saying he should give better interviews and is a diva and yadda yadda ya. I didn't realize Chuck had said all that stupid shit.

The fact that they're having guys give post-game interviews to TNT is fucking stupid anyway. Probably the last thing KD and PG want to do after the game.

Wasn't Barkley the one saying about Kyrie he should only talk about what he knows - that his job is to play basketball? And then he gets butthurt when a player isn't engaged in an interview?

I mean I like the TNT desk well enough and I'm sure there's a middle ground to be had but after a certain point just let these guys play. They aren't there to play 20 questions with the media whenever it's convenient for talking heads and journalists.

I'm old enough to remember someone saying that teams wouldn't exactly be lining up to give up good assets to get him.

And for the record I STILL think he gets traded, and some team gives up something decent for him.  But him being seen as a malcontent and problem is growing more and more every day.

At what point can the Rockets stop paying this piece of shit?

Its kinda hard not to pay guys.     As long as he "shows up" they have to pay.   I imagine with this not being the first time he's broken protocol they may be able to fine him like $20.    He is trying to get them to tell him to stay home until they get a trade for him.   They would have to pay him if they do that.    He knows what he is doing.
