Depends on the job and location. UM is a pretty good path to the banking/consulting world, while UF is definitely better for engineering/science/accounting. Pretty standard state vs. private split.

You write like a patrician ivy league douche without a clue beyond the classroom in this discussion.

The stadium shit is just another load of bs. Someone ask them the capacities of both Miss schools, Vanderbilt, Kentucky,  Missouri, etc.

It's rational on the ag-adjusted meter. You're never getting anything like truth there.

I do love this.  As if a modern NFL scout, armed with endless media options to scour the nation to find top players, would just "miss" a guy not in the P5 conference.  "Less exposure"?  This isn't the 1960's with 3-5 viable TV channels.

Carson Wentz, Terron Armstead, Khalil Mack, Damon Harrison, Danny Woodhead, etc.  The list goes on and on and on.

"Implosion Tendencies" - does this fuck knuckle have zero clue about the last decade of FSU football?  Especially the final years before Jimbo bailed?  JFC

Yeah, no implosion tendencies from Jimbo Fisher at all. Coaches who throw coffee in staffers faces and get forced to go to Anger Management classes by the FSU president need not apply.

Amazing Von Miller even got drafted at all after playing in the low-TV-rating B12.

Brauny: "That hasn't come from Xavion or any of my sources."  Now that is some great reporting.

Loochy: "it's well known on TOS that Elko gives Wilfong intel".   So he's using another aggy message board as a source.  Great idea.

The best Looch can do right now to assuage his feeble readers’ sheep brains is “If things don’t roll along, then....”

Uh, Looch, he won 10 games and the Sugar Bowl with a sophomore QB, a misfit roster with a good number of holes last year. He now has a bona fide stud QB for the next two years and the talent, depth, and scheme fit of his roster will drastically increase every year for the next three years.

Good luck with your whole “if things don’t roll along hypothetical,” especially when Jimbo fails to hit 10 wins in either of his two first seasons.

Tom Herman has a terrible personality and no one likes him! Texas' Big Money Donors will fire him for being a big meanie if he doesn't win! says a message board poster who's never met him or probably any of the BMDs in question.

Tom Herman has an implosion-y personality even though as OC at Ohio State, HC at Houston, and now HC at Texas nothing he's ever been in charge of has ever imploded. For all the noise people made about the Navy and SMU losses in 2016, Houston won three in a row after that SMU loss. We lost to fucking Maryland for the second year in a row and then bumble-fucked around against Tulsa last year, and ended up winning 10 games and the Sugar Bowl. So no, I don't really think there's any evidence that Herman is prone to implosions.

Herein lies your mistake. aggy doesn’t need  “evidence” for their beliefs...

or their conference titles.

They just like believing and promoting lies. It permeates their entire existence.

They know that Herman thought Mullet was yelling at some Longhorns. Herman was mistaken, recognized it, and backed off.

The Missouri team had been dicks all week of that bowl game. Two player made a point of doing the Horns down before the game.Their QB did the pack on the shoulder routine when at last they scored as though now they were taking over. Herman did get a little carried away from the aspect that it was on TV, but among his players, he and the team were celebrating.

The Missouri QB said he thought is was cool.

Because the Aggies hate any coach that Texas has, they always assume everybody hates any coach Texas has. They feel obliged to feed that hate with lies. Same way they feed their own need to feel loved and important.

I have always thought O'neal would make a really good linebacker if he can put on 20-30 pounds. He has great instincts, he is just slow.

So you want a guy who struggles to break a 5.0 40 without a tailwind to add 20-30 lbs?

Not only that, but Texas was 4 points away from playing OU for a spot in the playoffs last year. aggy lives in fear of Texas going on another run like MB went on from 2004-2009, except with much better offensive coaching. Defensively Mack hired some really good coordinators in Chizik and Muschamp.

I mean it's hardly possible to compare Caden Sterns performance to O'Neals when he's been sitting behind a current NFL safety and now the likes of THE Keldrick Carper. Just wait until next year.

Williams and Richardson will be good safeties for them. Better than Tucker and SloNeal, but holy shit that CB depth chart is hilariously shitty.

I think Herman is probably polarizing for a lot of schools.  tosu certainly has a hatred as well.  I don't care if he is liked by other programs or not, as long as he is ours and is producing.  Right now the things that people are pointing to are not a blip on my radar.   If he was ignoring sexual assault or something like that it would be another story.  But I would damn sure rather have Herman than Jimbo with what is publicly known or speculated about the two.

Aggy: Learning how to be champions since 1939

a VERY DOWN Big 12?

Two of their conference teams are picked to win 11 games in vegas because (a) they have 4 wins guaranteed with the 4 games of FCS and (b) the rest of the conference is trash hovering around 7 - 7.5 win odds and less.

Also, TCU brought some real competition when aggy left, not to mention some actual big bowl trophies.

10/12 from hereforward shall be referred to as Jerry Jeudy Feast day cementing his place in the heisman conversation through the rest of the season. He'll go for 217 and 3.
