A story about a pathetic man's downfall [34 Felony Convictions]

In addition to many other frailties of that lawsuit, it complains of actions that took place mostly before the 2016 election.
The problem with that is that the Civil RICO statute of limitations is four years.  And most of the other claims are shorter than that.
My bold prediction:  this lawsuit will be shot into the sun without whisky or hash browns.
Can we make an exception this one time? We really need to have a good discovery process against Trump.

If FAFO ever really meant something in regards to Trump, this would be it.

I lol at the folks he hires. Every other serious politician has someone like James fucking Baker representing them.  (Or literally James Baker in the case of bush v gore) Donald only shops at the Hollywood upstairs law school.  Dudes that 80% of this board are more successful than.
Shit I only did one year at UT law, and I could probably provide better counsel than have his attorneys.

I'm forming a new network called FTG - First to Glory "The network for Winners" (No, contrary to rumors it is not Fuck The GOP).  So indulge me while I put on the persona of my new TV network star opinion news anchor, Cucker Tarlson.  He has an Aussie accent so imagine that as you read this.

Cucker: News reports out today are that the former president, TC Trump, won a procedural ruling in the case Stormy Daniels brought against him where she asserts he keeps a tiny cocker spaniel in his pants.  This was a completely winnable case for Daniels but for some reason her attorney did not file the correct motions before the deadline which leads to the question:  "Did Trump pay off Stormy's lawyer the way he paid off Stormy not to tell people about their extramarital affair while his whore wife, Melania, was pregnant and to keep the details of his tiny cocker a secret?  and if the answer is yes, that Trump paid off Stormy's lawyer then isn't that an admission that he has a tiny cocker and had sex with her?  Why else would you do it?  No need to pay off the lawyer to miss the deadline if you were innocent so we can only assume that he has a tiny cocker.  And if we need proof I think we must logically look to the briefcase Giuliani carried with him when he filmed that famous scene from Borat, the same one he keeps his electric razor in while shaving at the airport Applebee's.  Where is that briefcase, and does it also have Trumps DNA and poop stained briefs from the hotel rendezvous with Stormy?  If so I'll bet we also find her urine on them from the golden shower Trump requested.

Here to join me to talk about this is Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen...

/Tarlson

I think the Aussie accent really adds something to it, don't you?

I'm on a bender to get this shit off my chest.  (see what I did there?)

that awkward moment when a former ass-to-mouth-cum-guzzling porn star has more integrity than a former president.  she's our generation's 'Deepthroat'

Hey, the only difference between thousands and trillions is a bunch of zeroes, and zeroes are not worth anything.  What's the problem?

I know this is difficult for you or I to comprehend, but they believe that Trump is smarter than any attorney alive---or anyone on the planet, actually---and that he decided that he could win this case on its merits, and instructed a cadre of attorneys to file the suit on his behalf.

He is.  He can continue committing crimes and treason because nobody dares prosecute him.  That can only happen if you're brilliant, right?  In a few years, Trump's going to be debating, on stage or public platforms, a Democrat and the press will handle everything like it's all perfectly normal.  The press will need to totally ignore the fact that an actual criminal and daily proven liar's statements while challenging every statement by the opponent.  How are you on the stage after paying pornstars and establishing Russian backchannels?  And Trump will win because economic depression, plague, Democratic suppression and blatant, public crimes are fine at the expense of the Democrats.  Hillary's emails and pro choice excuse all public Republican crimes.

Not one person in the GQP cares. The end always  justifies the means for the GQP. Period. Full Stop. Even if Trump was proven to commit a couple of teensy felonies to stay in office, its only because he's such a goddamn patriot that loves his country so much.

GQP is loyal to Trump, not this nation

Just a reminder, that judge was considering the crime-fraud exception to attorney-client privilege.   That doesn't require proof beyond a reasonable doubt, sufficient to convict in a criminal court.

But, it is gratifying to see a federal judge, of exactly the type that would oversee a trial of Trump, find that the Committee has made a prima facie/preponderance of the evidence case of obstruction of an official proceeding.

That a number of other judges, including Trump appointees, have refused to dismiss similar charges against 1/6 defendants, on a similar analysis, is another positive data point.

It should be a nudge toward prosecution.

We have about 225 days until the election. Is that enough time?

The biggest hit to trump would be to force him to sit in court for his trial during the campaign season to deny him the rallies and put a lid on any public statements on the case.  His head would explode.
