Oh that whole Rogan fanboy crew of meatheads turned on Bill Burr a long time ago when they found out he wasn't a racist dip shit like them.

I admit that I was pissed when TCU fans disrespected Worthy like that.

Edited to say, in my defense, those fingers were inches from Worthy’s face.

Wasn't it Mitchell?

BTW - the Debby Reynolds clip above is from "Two weeks with love" in 1950. Debby Reynolds is only 17 years old here, having been signed two a studio deal after being discovered in a Beauty Pageant and "won" via coin flip by MGM over Warner Bros when she was 16. She's clearly talented, but she was a didn't have any real training in either Dancing or Singing and it shows. But the song sold a million records, and Louis B Meyer forced a furious Gene Kelly to accept her as a co-star in "Singin' in the Rain," along with himself and Donald O'Conner*.
Anyway, she had three months to learn how to dance, Gene Kelly never gave her a word of encouragement. Apparently she was on the verge of quitting when Fred Astaire found her crying under a piano after a difficult rehearsal where Kelly insulted her, and volunteered to work with her. Here she is, much improved and hanging with masters:

* Gene Kelly pushed everyone hard in his films. Donald O'Conner spent several days in the hospital after filming the incredibly spectacular number "Make 'Em Laugh," which isn't surprising considering that he did it while smoking 4 packs a day.

I would’ve enjoyed engaging in some monkey business with Debbie Reynolds. I love her. She was a fabulous babe.

Fwiw, I thought her dancing was just fine in that first clip. It was a silly song but I thought the choreography was clever. I thought her performance was really solid in what looks like a bubblegum flick targeted at a teeny bopper audience.

Maryanne Trump Barry, the eldest sister of former President Trump, dies at 86

Maryanne Trump Barry, the eldest sister of former President Donald Trump, has died, two sources with knowledge of the matter told CNN. She was 86.

Barry, a former federal judge and prosecutor, was selected by President Ronald Reagan to serve on the Federal District Court in New Jersey in 1983. She was subsequently nominated by President Bill Clinton to the 3rd Court of Appeals in 1999 and retired in 2019.

Her retirement came amid an investigation into whether she violated judicial conduct rules by committing tax fraud following reporting from The New York Times that alleged the former president and his siblings utilized tax schemes to inflate their inheritances. A disclosure form from Barry’s Senate confirmation that presented a $1 million contribution from a Trump family-owned company reportedly played a vital – though inadvertent – role in uncovering the alleged fraud.

Because she retired, the investigation into Barry closed, leaving her entitled to an annual retirement salary and free from judicial rebuke. Her attorney denied the allegations.

This story is breaking and will be updated.

Also: That one move with the couch in "Good Morning," where all three of them stepped on it and rotated it in time, took ONE YEAR to get right.

One move, in one song, took one year.

Gene Kelley rubbed salt into the wounds with the ballet sequence, that he finally got to dance with a REAL dancer.

And you know how the whole plot is the movie (and celebration behind that song) is about how they've decided to overdub the awful-sounding Jean Hagen with Debbie Reynolds? They actually did that... in reverse: Debbie's singing was overdubbed with Jean's.

Cyd Charrise, the ballerina, was from Amarillo, and Debbie was from El Paso, so this movie hits close to home.

Well, he's got the anger and denial stages down but it likely stops there.

This is basically MAGA right now.  It's pretty clear that a lot of them only listened to a few YouTube clip highlights of his.

I'm happy to say I have no idea who that Brenden Dilley douche is. Another self-proclaimed Patriot I'm guessing.

I met her once, at some Bar event, a number of years ago when Obama was president.  Someone at my table asked her about dotard's birther bullshit, and she just shook her head and said "Oh, that Donny."

Have no fear, he's got business guru Devin Nunes running the show on Truth Social, a turn around is coming any day now.

As for Bannon, he will be in jail soon enough, his appeal is going to get rejected and he will have to report for contempt of Congress.  However, that's not his biggest legal threat, while he's in prison his criminal fraud trial in New York is likely to happen, and he's gonna lose there as well.  Bannon has a track record from Biosphere 2 til now of pretty much being wrong.
