No reason to even hide it. Maybe Putin can hold a rally for trump ?

The head of the GOP is too much of a fucking coward to stand up to the Russians.

How long until he starts talking about how Reagan and George H.W. were bad people for saying bad things about the Soviet Union?

Sigh.

This thread was much cooler when we were talking about delicious fried chicken.

Been on trial everywhere, man.

Crossed the judge's line, man.

Breathed the covid air, man.

Of lammin it, had my share man,

Been on trial everywhere

You know what's amazingly stupid about Trump siding with Putin and his comments about pulling out of military alliances and the like?  It's that it shows he's a shitty businessman.

Sure, our military alliances, and our big-ass Navy and Air Force are there to help prevent another world war, especially since the next one could be even worse than the last one, and you can argue that it worked - Europe, one of our largest trading partners, has been relatively stable since 1945 (Yugoslavia was always going to shit the bed).  Asia is stable and prosperous.  And arguably, if we want to be the leader of the (free) world, then we have to put in the effort/money to act like it, because if we back off, China will eventually take our place in a few decades once they've built up a navy that can project power worldwide like we currently do.

But at the end of the day, the fact that the US helped put together military alliances where we are the cornerstone, and the fact that the US has a big-ass Navy and big-ass Air Force, those are huge part of the reason why we are the economic powerhouse that we are today, it's why American businesses have a global reach.  Our military and our alliances stabilized Europe and Asia, which means stable markets for our goods, and our Navy makes sure that American goods get to where they are going around the world, and that our imports get here to the US. Trump can only think like a small-time developer, so his ability to see the bigger picture outside of his personal interests is non-existent.

That’s a lot of big words that don’t include the naming rights to a Trump Tower in Moscow.
