Pictures of this plane from the charter operator doesn’t show the Trump 2024 or American flag by the door. The plane was in Bozeman at some point over the weekend, so he could have used it, but I’m not sold on that photo not being doctored. Are there any other sources on this?

yeah that doesn't really align with the all the  info regarding Trump's flight being diverted to Billings.

They did land at Billings..ADSB data doesn't lie.  But it could be anything...mechanical issue, for one. Someone would have to listen to the Ground/Tower/Approach ATC archived recording of when they landed to get more info (time is UTC), although they might not have discussed the issue: https://www.liveatc.net/search/?icao=BIL

The blue G550 was in Bozeman Friday, so maybe a donor or campaign-related plane?  The Trump decals would be easy to put on and remove.

In addition to the  polling data that has to be driving dotard insane, this cant be helping his mental state. The scam stock has  now given back all the  gains since the  assassination attempt, plus another 20%. This has to be the lion's share of his net wealth these days.

An uncommon occurrence of the market actually punishing a dogshit business

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-media-truth-social-revenue-b2594507.html

Quote

Donald Trump’s social media company Trump Media and Technology Group has reported a $16.4 million loss and less than $1 million in quarterly revenue, only months after it began trading publicly to much fanfare earlier this year.

The parent company of Truth Social said on Friday in its latest filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that it had earned $837,000 in revenue for the second quarter of 2024 — down 30 percent from the same period last year — and had also paid millions of dollars to cover legal expenses related to its merger with special purpose acquisition company Digital World Acquisition Corp.

Further, a press release states: “Additionally, the Company incurred $3.1 million of IT consulting and software licensing expenses, primarily related to its software licensing agreement to power its new TV streaming service.”

This month, Trump Media launched the Truth+ streaming service and believes its strong balance sheet of $344 million in cash and equivalents, with no debt, will enable the expansion and refinement of its new offering.

Nevertheless, its market capitalization of nearly $5 billion is considered an extraordinarily high valuation given its very modest sales.

Yes and no. It still sports a $4.5B+ market  cap (trading at over 1000 x revenue), so I would say the market is still being fairly generous.

I doubt suicide is in his future.  His narcissism seems counter to the type of deep depression that would ordinarily lead one to take such a drastic action.  I think people entertain the idea that they might do such a thing when it's a hypothetical, but actually pulling the trigger (so to speak) is probably beyond the pale for most of us.

I went looking for Rex Tillerson’s exact “moron” quote and ran across this oldie-but-goodie article in the DMN where Tillerson discussed has former “boss.”

https://www.dallasnews.com/news/politics/2021/01/14/former-secretary-of-state-rex-tillerson-on-trump-were-in-a-worse-place-today-than-we-were-before-he-came-in/?outputType=amp

WASHINGTON — Former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who once reportedly called President Donald Trump a “moron” behind closed doors, is now disparaging — on the record — his former boss’s grasp of affairs both foreign and domestic.

“His understanding of global events, his understanding of global history, his understanding of U.S. history was really limited,” the former Exxon Mobil chief told Foreign Policy magazine in an interview released this week.

The Texan added: “It’s really hard to have a conversation with someone who doesn’t even understand the concept for why we’re talking about this.”

There’s never been love lost between Tillerson and Trump, particularly after the president fired his first secretary of state by tweet. Trump bashed the Texan as “dumb as a rock” and “lazy as hell,” while Tillerson called Trump an “undisciplined” leader who “doesn’t like to read.”

But until now, Tillerson hadn’t been quite so detailed in his frustration.

“I used to go into meetings with a list of four to five things I needed to talk to him about, and I quickly learned that if I got to three, it was a home run, and I realized getting two that were meaningful was probably the best objective,” he told Foreign Policy.

He explained that he started “taking charts and pictures with me because I found that those seemed to hold his attention better.”

“If I could put a photo or a picture in front of him or a map or a piece of paper that had two big bullet points on it, he would focus on that, and I could build on that,” Tillerson told the outlet. “Just sitting and trying to have a conversation as you and I are having just doesn’t work.”

Asked by Foreign Policy how Trump made informed decisions if the president had a hard time focusing during briefings and didn’t read briefing material, Tillerson didn’t hesitate.

“Well, that’s the key,” he said. “I’m not sure many of those decisions were well-informed.”

The interview with Foreign Policy was conducted before Trump incited a mob to march on the Capitol — an event that led the House this week to impeach the president for a second time. And given the magazine’s audience, the conversation focused almost exclusively on foreign affairs.

But even on just the global front, Tillerson offered a dismal assessment of Trump’s approach, expressing bewilderment at the president’s penchant for criticizing allies and cozying up to authoritarian regimes.

“Nothing worked out,” he said.

The U.S. “squandered the best opportunity we had on North Korea,” Tillerson said. With Russian President Vladimir Putin, “we didn’t get anything done,” he said. And, he added, the U.S. is “nowhere with China on national security.”

“We’re in a worse place today than we were before he came in,” Tillerson said, “and I didn’t think that was possible.”

yeah. I’m not so sure that Trump has done research on what minimal facts are necessary for a probable cause search.

I think it’s safe to say the rest of us that aren’t in the cult would come to the same conclusion. The books that will be written about this clown for the next century are going to really be something.

I don’t think any of that is the point. It’s red meat to the cult, especially when “THE DEEP STATE” throws this out. He will cry conspiracy and they will lap it up.

Keep up the pressure. Psychological warfare.

Spoiler

Conservative attorney George Conway is trolling Donald Trump both where he lives and where he plays by placing billboards near the former president’s Mar-a-Lago home and outside two of his favorite golf courses.

The billboards from Conway’s Anti-Psychopath PAC remind passersby that Trump cheats ― and not just at golf.

“Donald Trump’s reputation as a cheater and liar extends beyond the golf course into every aspect of his life,” Conway said in a news release

The PAC said the 13 billboards have been “strategically placed” around Trump’s Bedminster golf course in New Jersey, his Doral golf course in Florida, and his Mar-a-Lago home to ensure that Trump himself sees them:

Numerous Trump golf partners have said the former president cheats, especially when playing on courses he owns.

Sportswriter Rick Reilly, who has golfed with Trump, said earlier this year that the former president cheats “like a mafia accountant.”

Reilly wrote an entire book on how Trump cheats at golf.

The Anti-Psychopath PAC said it’s hoping the billboards push Trump’s buttons.

“This campaign is designed to provoke Trump into another bout of unhinged behavior, further demonstrating his unfitness for office,” the organization said in a news release.

The billboards outside the golf courses will be up through Aug. 25, while the one near Mar-a-Lago will be up through November, as part of a six-figure ad campaign.

The PAC has posted a map showing the locations here.

Is it me, or did they make it a point to tactitly mention that it's still a legal $2 bill from Treasury and can be used in circulation?

They are defacing US currency for profit.  Trump selling an actual $2 bill for $19.95 is so on brand.

If it's like some of the other schemes with actual currency, what it is, is a clear plastic sleeve with stuff printed on it, and when you slide the $2 bill into it, it makes the bill look like it has something else on it. You can take the bill out of the sleeve at any time and use it legally.

Although they sound like they are colorizing/printing on the bills, but that seems very dubious. More likely a fancy color sleeve.

Around the same time that Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) was publicly slammingthe Republican Party for its cult-like devotion to former President Donald Trump, one far-right Arizona lawmaker was busy finalizing legislation to honor the MAGA movement’s leader.

Rep. Paul Gosar’s new bill, dubbed the Treasury Reserve Unveiling Memorable Portrait (TRUMP) Act, would require the United States Treasury to print $500 bills with Trump’s face on them. No joke.

Gosar rolled out the bill just days after Trump became the first U.S. president ever convicted of a crime. A New York jury last week found him guilty of 34 felonies in a state-level criminal case that centered on hush money payments to porn actor Stormy Daniels in 2016.

No, we need to let him flee (he won't), because South America attracts a certain kind of white person who feels the need to leave their home country....kind of like a rat following a line.

Meanwhile, speaking of white people (NSIAP)

Heh.

Palm Beach Mayor Danielle Moore is exploring the possibility of closing down Mar-a-Lago as residents express concerns that they "don't feel safe."

An indefinite road closure near former President Donald Trump's Florida property has prompted Moore to direct the Town Council to research whether it could close the beach club until the road reopens.

The Secret Service closed South Ocean Boulevard, the road running along Mar-a-Lago, almost a month ago, in the wake of the July 13 assassination attempt on Trump. Security has also been increased around Trump's other properties, including the Trump Tower in Manhattan and his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

So far, there are no plans to reopen the road. Local police have said that "at a minimum" the shutdown would last through Election Day on November 5.

Amid the road closure and new checkpoints, Mar-a-Lago has remained open for business. Town officials are now wondering how effective increased security is if hundreds of people continue to be invited to the property for various events.

"You can't have it both ways, boys and girls," Moore said during a Tuesday Palm Beach Council meeting, the Palm Beach Daily News reported. "Either the club's open or not."

"In my mind, if the road is closed, the Mar-a-Lago Club is closed," the mayor said.

Newsweek has contacted Moore via email and Mar-a-Lago via phone for comment.

When the boulevard was first shut down, the town of Palm Beach told residents that "neither Town Officials nor the Town Council" helped make the decision, but that it was working with the Secret Service to "minimize the impacts of this road closure."

"The Town plans to pursue legal options to ensure that the road remains open in the absence of the protected person(s) in residence," a July 20 alert said.

Moore told the Palm Beach Daily News last month that while she understood the increased precautions, she had concerns about the decision to close South Ocean Boulevard "when there's nothing out there but water."

"I have more concerns coming from the west side of Mar-a-Lago," she added.

During Tuesday's meeting, Council Member Julie Araskog said she had received calls from residents complaining that the new checkpoints made it difficult for caregivers and other staff to reach them and expressing worries that it could affect the speed at which first responders are able to attend to emergency situations, the Palm Beach Daily News reported. She also said some had also called about safety concerns given the threats Trump has received.

"Our residents don't feel safe right now," Araskog said.

Council Member Ted Cooney also took issue with how the closure had affected traffic, saying he was "terrified as to what life looks like in town with this road closure." Moore said a resident had informed her that they had to travel almost an hour to make a delivery that would have taken 10 minutes if the boulevard were open.

Town Manager Kirk Blouin noted that it's not even high season in Palm Beach yet. The town typically becomes busy after Thanksgiving, although that has moved earlier and earlier since the pandemic.

Blouin said, "We're at the slowest point that we're going to be and we're already seeing the impacts."
