Christianity was from brown middle eastern people. And nothing else on that list would be possible without algebra, also from brown middle eastern people. The name John...ah fuck it

Also, all of that ultimately came from God.

Am I doing that right?

So if one books an event at Mar a Lago, he just shows up, takes the stage and starts yelling at clouds?

JFC, you really have to be a sycophant to have a party there.

It's part of the package.

"With your $200,000 Imperial wedding reception package, we throw in, for no extra cost, a few minutes with the President.  But you have to book early, because his schedule fills fast".

Trump is just a washed-up wrestler at this point, still cutting promos about his long-dead election fraud angle to small, uninterested crowds at some dumpy backwater venue.

You could put the Trump animatronic from the Hall of Presidents at Disney World, program it to say the same exact thing and no one would spot the difference.

What the fuck is going on in that video?  He's talking about the election in the present tense as if it's happening right now.  He mentions that it's playing on the TV's or something.

I think he's referring to the Maricopa recount.

come on, Dotard is not a detail guy, he's an idea guy, you know, a big picture guy, a mover and a shaker. Details are for the little people.

Yeah, he looks like he's on the "give the people what they want" autopilot.

Trump has a sad, and that makes me happy.

"Trump has been adrift during his exile, indecisive, meandering and dawdling. Former CNN White House reporter Jim Acosta put it best by describing the Trump post-presidency as a “sad old Elvis act,” adding, “It’s like he’s an animatronic character, spewing out this stuff all over again like he has a string you pull behind him and replace the batteries when they’re low inside.”

For all of Kevin McCarthy's bitching about Liz Cheney, I'd love to be a fly on the wall around McCarthy or Turtle if Don Jr. decides to run in '24.

Cheney seems to be the only one who is willing to allow herself to publicly talk about what Trump is doing to the GOP.

What a shame.  Thoughts and prayers.

Quote

Facebook’s Oversight Board has upheld Facebook’s ban on former President Donald Trump, as announced by the organization on Wednesday. Trump was suspended from Facebook platforms following the deadly Capitol riot this past January.

Facebook asked the Oversight Board to review Trump’s ban in January, shortly after it suspended his account for inciting violence at the US Capitol.

Quote

The Oversight Board’s decisions are not technically binding, but so far, Facebook has deferred to its judgment on individual appeals. The board made its first decisions in January, asking Facebook to restore four posts originally censored for nudity, hate speech, and COVID-19 misinformation. (It agreed with Facebook on one case, where a user posted a “dehumanizing slur” against Armenians.) Facebook also responded favorably to several optional recommendations, agreeing to clarify some policies and test new features. It explicitly disagreed with only one suggestion: loosening its rules against posting pandemic-related false information.

Trump remains banned on other large social networks. In the wake of the Capitol attack, Twitter permanently removed his account and YouTube suspended him indefinitely. However, YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki recently promised to restore his account in the future, once the imminent risk of inciting violence had diminished.

That will hurt the most with regards to fund raising off the rubes.

There are 10,000 proxies and grifters in the second degree.  AND....when Trump announces his candidacy for 2024, FB pretty much has to let him back in.

Stop thinking that anything good will come of any of this.  Things will only get worse.  Even when you think things are getting better, behind the scenes, they are getting worse.  See, e.g., the GQP turning into a literally fascist party which has only one requirement -- fealty to Il Douche.  That's it.  That's the only belief that the party has.  It's telling you that, over and over, with more clarity and zero shame.
