Sure.  I hear that they are thriving in New Braunfels, Lockhart, Boerne, Fredericksburg, Gruene, Bulverde, Pflugerville, Weimar and Brenham.

Falls City and Poth and Panna Maria are where it’s at.

If you’ve followed Washington over the years you’re familiar with Kwiatkowski’s work. He and head coach Jimmy Lake formed quite the partnership with Lake getting much of the credit. Lake was elevated to head coach largely on their defensive track record (and Lake’s own recruiting).

Kiwatkowski isn’t a great recruiter but that won’t matter quite as much at an ascending Texas.

If it’s Pete, Sarkisian made one error in trading Blake Gideon for Coleman Hutzler. They’re going to have to get creative in balancing out the defensive staff.

Bo Davis is fine on the defensive line and needs no help.

Outside of coordinating, Kwiatkowski has only coached OLB or DL dating back to his time at Boise State.

Blake Gideon is a DB coach.

Terry Joseph is a safeties or corners coach, but a maximized staff would have him at safeties.

If Kwiatkowski’s the guy, there will be one available coaching position. Ideally they’d get an ace recruiter at corner but they may need a linebacker coach.

”Within reason, they’re not going to lose guys over money.”

Since everybody is coveting various CB coaches you could argue Joseph was the mistake instead of Blake, but I think both were fine hires actually.

Any chance Gideon could learn LB under Pete K?

His defense at UW seems fun.

Bases from a 2-4-5 with a good amount of 3-2-6 from what I can tell.

Mixed coverages, many different looks.

We getting that Nansen guy from UCLA for the last spot? Remember him being mentioned several pages ago. Looks like he's the DL coach at UCLA but was ILB coach at USC before. Seems like he's coached just about every position group in his career.

Sure. But let's not.

Seems like there may be enough overlap plus everybody talks about how great he can be and he seems to be a smart dude. Muschamp made the same jump when he went to LSU.

This would be fine although im sure there are better options available. If coach K is indeed an average recruiter, then we need one more rainmaker.

Recruiting has not been our problem ever, if we are developing players then the recruiting will follow even more so.  It also seems like we have several really strong recruiters on staff with Banks, Flood, Drayton, Sark, etc.

Waiting for the "we need 4 man front" dudes to wake up from their 5 man orgies.

Seems like I should be excited about this hire. What says my surly brethren?

I mean this is about as good of a DC in college football, especially considering his record against modern offenses.  Yeah, I take him over any of the Saban disciples including Muschamp.

They have some of the most delusional and arrogant fans in the Pac12.  Get ready for some over the top melodrama

So UW is like our sister school?

Not sure if related, but the CTJ/Eltife jet did a couple rounds in TX before hopping over to northern Idaho yesterday (Sandpoint area).

Beautiful up there

Only if he had on a UW jersey would thus be any more appropriate. Kudos, Cowtown.   I’m mean really well done.

Also held Sark to 12 in his last game at USC which was only the 2nd time held under 20 while he was there (Stanford in '14)
