I think you are referencing one of the girls on staff that I see in the background of a lot of TV sideline shots. That is not Loreal.

Preach Sark.   Too many Texas fans are irrational and shitty just as water is wet.  We've somehow already reverted back to Ohio State/Georgia/Bama level of expectations despite being the epitome of average (and at times worse) for well over a decade until '23.   I was as frustrated at times during the Arkie game as anyone but the amount of bitching I've seen almost a week later about a 10 point road win where we kneeled the ball out in the red zone has been exhausting.

You don't have to look far over at OU and their current trajectory to remember that regardless of how the rest of this season plays out we are in fact finally living in the good times again.

Sark was masterful last night, my only complaint is he keeps coaching around Quinn instead of just benching him.

Hopefully whatever jitters or injury or whatever gets worked out before the playoff because we ain’t going to be able to win the national championship without a QB.

But feeding Wisner and relying on defense has been awesome, he’s usually so eager to get more points on the board he just keeps passing when the run is working.

The leaning on the run play calling is a big improvement. I feel past years he was too eager to shoot and score and games that should have been blow outs ended up being close. Now leaning on that run game allows him to win comfortably.

I'll take the 11-1 regular season result !!! 🤘

He got cute a couple times in the third quarter but realized his mistake and Ewers’s complete collapse in confidence and changed course.  Kudos to him.  Imagine this team with even a capable, confident game manager at QB, let alone a playmaker.

My coach

Quote

In a video caught by CBS Austin's Bob Ballou, Sarkisian can be seen chasing down the players who were running to the logo in the middle of the field waving his arms to get them to stop.

- Bob Ballou (@BobBallouSports) December 1, 2024

Chaos was averted, but it left some questioning why Sarkisian wouldn't want his players to celebrate on the logo, as many teams do when winning a major rivalry game.

Sarkisian explained his actions in his postgame interview, citing what happened earlier that day at the Ohio State–Michigan game as his main reasoning. That rivalry game ended in a huge brawl when Michigan planted its flag on Ohio State's field, and some players were pepper sprayed by police. Sarkisian didn't want this to happen on his watch.

"Rivalries are great, but there's a way to win it with class, and I just didn't think that's the right thing to do. We shouldn't be on their logo. We shouldn't be planting any flags on their logo," Sarkisian said. "And I'd like to, whenever that day comes, get the same respect in return.

"I just think there's a way we try to teach our players how to go about our business. We celebrate with one another. It's not about any other team. It's about what we do. And I think there's a way to win with class and I'm hopeful that we can continue to learn how to do that."
