This is bullshit.

Yes, VY might have flamed out quickly in Houston. But we don't know that. The organization had the opportunity to make an Earl Campbell-like draft pick and passed to select a combine warrior.

If VY didn't work out for the Texans, fans wouldn't have blamed the front office for making the pick. It was a no-lose situation and they fucked it up.

Lol, don't make a fuck what the fans think, VY would have had a posse of 1,000 in Houston. It would have been a flame out of epic proportions.

We need to figure out who is in Janice McNair's old lady friend circle and bribe them to be shun her until she hires a new president. It sounds like a dumb plan but it's not any dumber than interviewing Josh McCown for head coach.

Had to come and post this.   We really do this now?    I dont even want Bienemy to get the job with that shit show but this is fucking absurd.

Josh Mccown sucked off Easterby in a press conference earlier this year. That's literally it. That and his complete inexperience and therefore probable complete willingness to have Easterby all up in his shit micromanaging everything. That's why his name has emerged.

If they hire Frazier or Caldwell, those dudes have experience running a team and are more likely to fight Easterby on his dumbfuck meddling.

Either way, this has to be bordering on some sort of illegal hiring practice.

Now we’re just all over the place with these rumors but I think this would be a great hire

also, can you be an early favorite when you’re the last team to hire a HC?

McClain has no credibility at this point, having effectively acted as a mouthpiece for McNair, and openly wondering why fans are so upset with Easterby.

You are all over the place.

I literally LOL’d. I said that once to an ex girlfriend who was on a long rant on how bad a boyfriend I was. There isn’t a more succinct and powerful sentence in the human language.

You might throw the word “Geez” in front for good measure...

seems the Texans have like 6-7 "leading contenders" this week...they seem to be going in a positive direction

I guess when you are the last HC job open you don’t have to worry about someone else stealing your prom date?

It also helps when you're interviewing and considering candidates no one else wanted.

McCown is also a very vocal Christian. In any other situation that would be meaningless, but it does feel like Easterby’s fingers are all over this development.

Rename the team, Houston Templars. Change colors to white and red and put a cross on the helmet.

If they do hire McCown with no head coaching experience based on his religious views this will be even more of a shit show. Bypass the black candidates, who have experience and hire the white guy who has never coached...

I didn’t even think of this angle. McCown is obviously a lock.

"People question his ability to jump right into a head coaching job and putting the right 11 guys on the field, but like Josh said, did Jesus Christ have any experience before choosing his 12 apostles? That blew Jack and I away. So yeah, that's the reason for signing him to a lifetime contract."

But in seriousness I don’t think McCown will be coach here, you always see friends of friends give interviews to help people get their names out there etc. If rumors are true though, he might get his shot as an OC, but with us keeping Tim Kelly, it probably won’t be with us.

For is it’s Eberflus or Bieniemy.

I don’t think it’s Bienemy and shouldn’t be if we forced him to keep Kelly. That’s bullshit.

Kelly was kept at Deshaun’s request, I have almost no doubt about it. If Bieniemy wants his shot, it comes with a very slight caveat, I doubt it’s a dealbreaker for him.

Yesterday’s buzz was a growing consensus Watson is worth three #1’s and a #2 and/or #3. Bonus goes to a team with a top 5-10 pick in 2021. Sam Darnold’s value is being seen as a third round pick. Tua is fringe first/second round value at this point. It is seen as a good thing for the Texans if MIA and NYJ are the top suitors and get into an intradivision bidding war both because they want him and don’t want to play against him twice a year.

Watson’s trade value is worth the NFL permanently banning Cal McNair from owning one of their franchises.
