Happened for over 100 consecutive nights in the Summer of Love

I am waiting to see if they will admit the Michael Brown shooting was justified despite him being unarmed.  And that the Ferguson riots were not justified and premised upon a lie.

The Summer of Love was 1967. Your link doesn't describe rioters barricading a federal building with people inside and setting it on fire repeatedly occuring over 100 nights nor does it identify the people apprehended nor does it claim they were apprehended for barricading and setting a federal building on fire nor does it change my position.

According to that recital, the crowd gathered at 7pm and the violence didn't start until after 10pm.

Ain't shit goin on in a federal building after 6pm, really 5pm.  Unlike Congress in a joint session at 10am.

Americans don't give a fuck about January 6 despite all the pearl clutching and theatrics from the left.  The real threat to democracy was the attempted Russian collusion coup and Banana Republic lawfare.  Most Americans agree with me on this, as is evidenced by the ass kicking Trump just gave you.

Yes, yes totally fine because it was only a few people they tried to incinerate.

Question for the Leftists.

Whats the acceptable number of inhabitants of a Federal building when lighting the building on fire?  Anything less than full session of Congress?

You see Congressman lives are worth more than the security guards or janitors.

One isn't "plenty" but yeah, when a mob chanting death threats and assaulting cops are trying to physically force their way into an area manned by law enforcement in an attempt to overthrow an free and fair election that would be a situation when deadly force would be justified.

Close.  A lot of Americans do agree with this, because they are as stupid and brainwashed by Fox News as you are.

Swinging a skateboard at someones head is essentially a kiss on the cheeck(or sniff of the hair).  Surprised you don’t know that

They were outside of church on Sunday, no? Certainly not in a mob with police around.

This is why your side loses elections. You think the majority of America agrees with you because of the result of one election.

They don't.

You're in the minority.  Trump just was vindicated by a majority of the electorate.

It’s apparent a majority of the electorate is disengaged, has the memory of a mosquito, and is voting with their pocketbook.

I suspect the pocketbook is the key driver. I doubt they are endorsing the insurrection.

Won congress in the last two elections. Won the Presidency too. What are you referring to?

Bingo.

We shouldn't overthink this. Donald Trump won because Joe Biden is extremely unpopular. He's unpopular because of inflation.

Donald Trump was also an extremely unpopular president. There's no reason to think his second time in the White House will be any different. That's good news for Democrats.

Wrong. Democrats told us Jan 6th was on the ballot. Not Biden.

in real time

Honestly, I’ve been thinking about this meme since the results starting coming in.

Nicely played.

I still think people voted with their pocketbooks. I’m not gonna excuse this on race, misogyny, no primary, etc. I’m probably too much of an idealist for that and generally find common ground with everyone IRL.

I was referring to Tuesday, but 2020 and 2022 serve as reminders that Democrats are well-positioned to take back the House in 2026 and the White House in 2028.

I’m glad liberals now understand there are plenty of times where it is perfectly justified for a cop to shoot someone who isn’t armed.

When they're forcibly trying to overthrow an election?  Sure, on that we agree.

As an aside, you're really doing a good job of showing the rest of us that what we thought about you all the time was correct.   This is your time to shine!  Go ahead and get all the bile you hold inside out there!  You're doing a great job.  I'm sure there will be plenty of folks who will be happy to point out the many and varied failures of the idiot man child to whom you're clearly so emotionally tied as the next few years roll by.  I'm certain he will give them many, many opportunities to do so as he did the last go around.  Revel in his imbecility!  Embrace his ineptitude!  And I'm also fairly certain that you will once again disappear every time these obvious faults and failures are made apparent to you, your impotent defenses withering like so many day old mushrooms.

Good day to you, sir.

Great hot take.

I guess maybe the R’s shouldn’t abolish the filibuster, it might come back to haunt them.

The American people just voted.  And the verdict was Not Guilty.

Tell you what sporto, let's let the next five of your employment discrimination cases be decided by the American public, who hasn't even seen the evidence, just a bunch of shitass reporting of the cases.

And if they come back for your client, they also get to decide the damages.

I'll even give you a bonus:  only the ones that voted for Trump get to decide.

I mean, the "majority" will have spoken!

51.5% isn't "most" you drooling gasbag.

Academic linguists have traditionally agreed that when we use the word "most" in English, we usually mean anything from 51 to 99 percent of given group of people or collection of objects

There are 335 million Americans. Did more than 51% of them vote for Donald Trump?
