Whittaker completely over matched

It was sad to watch, but won't mind seeing Khamzat for the belt. I don't know who is strong enough to keep him off though. Would love to see him beat strickland first.

Main event was rough. Holloway was doing just fine. Putting on a striking clinic at times. Then.... bam. Topuria's power gotta start entering rare territory in UFC lore.

Man I am probably one of the biggest Stipe fans on the planet, but I wanted this fight to happen like 5 years ago.

Not sure Stipe will have enough for Jones. (May wouldn't have 5 years ago either, but he would have been more in his prime).

Still plan on watching and hoping for an upset.

Bones looking a little like the average surly poster. Not used to that.

Slow. Hittable. No wonder he's ducking Aspinall. Tom would finish him.

Y’all check out Zack Reese fighting middleweight on the prelim card tonight. He’s a relative of sorts, raised and still lives in Shiner. He’s doing pretty good as a pro, with only one loss and has finished most of his fights in the first round. His original opponent pulled out and Zack is fighting a Russian guy that was dropped in at the last minute.

Here was one of Zack’s last fights.  Don’t blink.

That mullet is an unfair advantage but he looks solid.

Good luck tonight!

Turned out to be a good card. I’m a fan of Jiri, happy he got that win. Pereira is just not a good matchup for him. Gotta find someone else.

Merab’s gas tank is unreal. Umar looked good until he gassed. Really good fight.

Islam is just a machine. His fight streak company is impressive - Jones, Anderson, Mighty Mouse. That’s good company.

merab deserves everything he gets.  lunch pail ass motherfucker, ultra humble, hard working, talented, funny in his unique way, just doesnt have the verbal skills and charisma to break through to mainstream stardom.

outgrappling the dagestani is a hell of an achievement.

Only thing I hate about him is he’s from Georgia.

He’s also in the most cringe and hate worthy camp out of New Jersey with Aljo

yeah i used to have a lot of sympathy for aljo but im also seeing why hes such a turnoff for fans.  the other good trait of merab is he is incredibly loyal to his friends like aljo.  dude's one of the good guys on the roster.

He's a badass for sure, and a nice guy. He tries to play a character to stay relevant because his fight style isn't all that glamorous.

I was glad him and Umar stayed up most of the fight, we got to see his striking is pretty good.

"I'm the captain now" was a great line by mvp...but how'd it work out for that guy?

MVP seemed annoying when he was beating up cans in Bellator but now having seen more of his personality in UFC interviews and etc, he seems like a cool dude. Middleweight is not deep enough that he wouldn't be T10, T5.  Vettori would be a good test for him.

Izzy losses are soooo satisfying.

That was a decent fight along with Rongzhu/Steele, but neither one all that close. On + for the free portion, but here are some links for the future in case sports urge goes down.
