North Korea is now emboldened thanks to trump and his weak ass bullshit. They are now more a danger to us than ever because they now believe they can do whatever the fuck they want and pussy ass trump won’t say shit because it would contradict his lying narrative that the norks are no longer a threat.

Trump is weakening America bigly, to use one of his stupid words.

There is no doubt that America is much weaker now than it was on January 19, 2017.

North Korea is not a danger to us now or before. They are a danger to South Korea, but only if someone makes a move to topple them.  All we did is legitimize the regime. In the long run, its better to legitimize them because the other way wasnt working. Let them keep nukes, and instead push for actual demilitarization along the DMZ. Open more trade, travel, and economic cooperation between the Koreas. Eventually NK will see some economic reform. Hopefully political and educational reform will follow that.

It's like we forgot how we beat the Soviets. We opened them up.  We shut the door on Cuba and they're still around.

What do you mean by "the other way wasn't working?" Wasn't working to accomplish what end? To achieve economic, educational, and political reform? Have you forgotten China's role in all this? That ain't happening whether we legitimize a nuclear N. Korea or not.

The Soviets and Cuba is a bad analogy. And president Xi is no Gorbachev.

The sad thing is he's not paying attention to daily intelligence reports, so people in the intelligence community feel the need to leak what's really going on to the press.

Sounds to me like they're alerting the public that Trump is working on a deal where NK gets rid of one nuke site and a subset of their nuke arsenal and Trump looks the other way on their other sites and nukes.

There is a caravan of drug dealing Muslim Antifa protesters invading from El Salvador.

They’re coming to rape our women and declare sharia law.

Aint nobody got time for North Korea.

I'm not convinced by the wapo that the Nk deal won't progress as advertised, to a de-nuked peninsula.  Has the Post named any intel sources, beyond CIA/anonymous officials?

lulz - internet troll demands classified intelligence briefings and inspection of source material to be convinced that fucking North Korea will not be held to loosely defined promises.

Welp.. nothing ventured nothing gained.  Good effort.  Sanction the shit out of them again (I don't know if we rescinded any to begin with) and move on.  They aren't ready to come to the world table and you can't force them to.

So let's see - we get nothing while NK continues to develop nukes and gets to hobnob with the world's most powerful country as if they were a superpower (not to mention no end in sight to their human rights abuses).

The Art of the Deal.
