There is a lot of good conversation and suggestion on penny stocks, but it is harder and harder to find.

But before another thread is setup (at least by me) I thought the community should be polled about what they thing about yet another investment thread - one that is focused on pink sheet, and other penny stocks

Nah, once gme cools its back to normal biz. Maybe rename it to market horsefuckery so it encompasses more.

My watchlist for these babies is Pennies With Benies. I’m honestly good with whatever but the thread title being related to pennies might do a better job of keeping it on target. Have a “limit price” for discussion.

#SupDup SuperDuperInvestor @ SuperDuperInvst I was trying to follow a few others but this gal has been on fire. After I stopped clouding the picture with all the other noise and just following her calls my account has more than tripled the last 8- 10 weeks. One example was BNGO recommended at 0.56 and is now at $11.00 (been as high as 13.85) She has a mix of swings and LT holds as well. ex: CURI (Curiosity Channel) called around $7.50 in November and is now been up to $20+

I don't thing anyone is looking to put money into pinks, set it and forget it, unlike what many do with SPY, target funds, or some of the blue chips

Not really what I was saying, but sure, it's supposed to be a flip it quick thing I believe.

What's considered quick? Days? weeks? I guess I'm a swing trader. I've had  BNGO since October. Its a Bionano data company. I think there's future there. It was around $.50 then. I'm still holding the majority of my position but it was nice to take some of that 1400% profit and look for another penny. Improbable, but I'll take modest gains too cause they are all better returns than I can get on sitting around money. I am off the 000's though, I have not had good luck with them.

MMEX is one I’ve been watching since probably the Hornfans days. It’s a complete scam IMO, but it’s fun to see the lengths people will go to.

This week is going to be very interesting if you're in some of the plays that I'm in. XMET, FPVD, PFMS, TSNP, ALPP 

Monday

- XMET 2/1 motion to bar unassumed claims could be the gateway to reducing the A/S. It's also almost certainly not going to play out how many of the people who have gotten in recently think it will. I'd be happy to get news by Friday, given how slow NVSOS has been. There is also a continued status check due by Friday. However people who are too focused on the 2/1 date are going to get ansy by Tuesday/Wednesday. The hope is to hold it in the 4s or higher until news.  Full disclosure there is a significant chance that that doesn't happen. I haven't sold any since the first run to .003 months ago that got me on my free shares, and neither has my group of longs of which I'm one of the smallest holders at 7M, and together we hold north of 100M. If the shares do get reduced to the lowest amount projection of 880M we might have a nice little squeeze on our hands.

TSNP - said they're planning to start rolling out their app to 40 countries in February so there is hope that they just do PRs on the regular about them, also we're looking for the FINRA application for name change to HMBL

PFMS - expecting an 8k about the change in officers, hopefully publicly confirming Samtrade. I averaged up on Friday so I'm holding 1M shares now. SS is good for a pinky, but still watching out for a R/S since the last buyer tried it

Tuesday

- FPVD/BigToken CEO Lou Kerner told me directly on twitter (liking how accessible he is being right now) that there is going to be an 8k by Tuesday. That should have some valuable information especially about the legitimate concern due to the large increase in the A/S and the authorization to do so basically ad finitum (I think up to 1 Trillion or some insane number). Hopefully some insight about changing to BIGT as well.

Wednesday / Thursday

- More than likely the news from the above stuff will happen in this area instead of the day things are scheduled.

Friday

- Big Boy ALPP shareholder call, their IR confirmed that the uplist is still on target in the first half of February. Big new will be the vote on the A/S vs R/S, and schedule for uplisting. Also XMET status update, might be continued again though.

Considering taking my gains in FPVD and buying more XMET for the time being.  What are your thoughts?

It might be too late now. The time to buy was when it was languishing in the .003s. Dangerous, and stonky to jump in now, but if you like riding dirty you could probably flip it today/tomorrow.

I'm long both, for about 1mm shares each.  Just wanting to see if XMET has some serious run in it with a merger announcement forthcoming.  

 

So the next step would be actual share cancellations, correct?

XMET is the bigger risk / reward in the short term at least. The catalysts of share reduction (which is now 1 step closer) and a R/M with whatever Wei Tian has coming in could take it multiple pennies.  FPVD is a spinoff of a Nasdaq company in a growth industry with a baller CEO. 1M shares is an excellent position to be in. Have you costed out your original invesment?

Yes, hopefully an 8k will come out in the next few days, adjusted the SS or defining the plans for incoming company. Danger of that coming with an R/S is still high.

Newb stonk question.... how difficult is it to unload that many shares in the event of an upturn that would make you want to take your profits as quickly as possible?

Just depends.   It can be very difficult.   Or it can be easy since it’s been trading 200-300mm/day for several weeks.  (XMET at least) 

scaling out of it with a plan like RC has is the best option.

As with most newbs, you’ll probably buy and sell at the wrong time so it shouldn’t be a problem. You’d think I would have learned my lesson but the process repeats itself from time to time just to remind me I’m no expert.

In XMET exiting 1M isn't currently that difficult right now. As PPS gets higher it gets more difficult to do it all at once unless it's during a run and people are scambling to get shares it will get eaten up. Also altruistically the higher things go if you dump 1M shares at once it causes a downward candle which hurts everybody in the stock. This has happened from multiple people in TSNP who managed to get on board in the trips (lucky bastards). I even know a guy who was holding north of a million ALPP back when I first got in, he's only been able to sell in 20k blocks without damaging the chart.

XMET resistance at .009 is very strong, if we break that we'll see the penny quick maybe a little extra before it falls down.

FPVD - 8k due today as said by CEO

PFMS - 8k expected this week

ALPP - Shareholder Call on Friday, uplist confirmed in first half of February

TSNP - Still sad this isn't available in the US... hopefully soon. Currently running, if it breaks $0.50 watch out for a run

While I understand the logic of scraping your original investment on a stock by stock basis and getting to free shares, that doesn't quite feel stonky enough for me.  I funded my play account back in May or so and thanks to the Stonks thread, I am up very handsomely over all.  So, I'm holding a cash balance equal to about 2x of my original funding amount and the rest is spread across about 22 different pink sheets. *rocket emoji* *moon emoji* 

EGOC has me sad.

Not sure what has happened with EGOC. I'll see if I can find out something from the guy who told me about it.

Still up over 60%, but quite a dip since the high. Maybe a chance to buy more.

XMET getting downward pressure on the ASK, but not at volume everything is under 1M shares. Looking desperate, but profit takers are getting hooks and selling on bid.

EDIT there's the flip, they got it under .007 and put up a 7M share wall. Bastardos! Could tumble a bit here as late comers get eaten up.
