I guarantee we move up the list next year. The crowd just has to give a shit about the team that we are playing. The environment vs Bama and Notre Dame several years back were amazing. With Georgia, Florida, etc. coming in the crowd is going to be great next year.

it's the actual rankings in the game, is it not?

this isn't some shitty listicle from yahoo sports

Yes it’s the actual rankings. It’s still just designed to generate discussion. Crowd factor has a negligible impact on gameplay and is toggleable anyway. In dynasty mode it changes season to season based on how well the team is doing. But look at us right now, it worked.

That's because one of the ranking factors of "Toughest Places to Play" includes the "concern and distraction" factor that the opposition has for the decks collapsing during the game.

Plus having to constantly watch out for your corn hole.

“S-E-C!” chant confirmed to be in the game from the sights & sounds deep dive today. That’s one time where I wish they wouldn’t have gone for real world accuracy.

I sincerely hope we don't do that, but there are enough knuckle draggers in the stands that it might be inevitable.

They’ll finish the year with a similar (kind of shitty record), but there is no fucking way that A&M has a better offense than USC.

Oregon is a little too high, I’d drop them back to 6. Colorado at 8 is hilarious

USC lost like all of their offensive weapons except that one freshman receiver.

I wonder if they will update rankings during the season like other games. Because CO is gonna wind up around a 50.

Riley’s teams have finished outside the top ten in points per game exactly once in his career, and that was 12th. They’ve been in the top 5 four times in seven years.

His teams are going to be soft, play shitty defense, and score a ton of points. It’s inevitable.

Colorado, who finished 124 of 133 FBS schools last year in team defense, gets ranked #20 defense?

It's EA. And in spite of all the cool shit that's been displayed thus far, the fact that it's EA means there's still a high chance they'll completely fuck up huge portions of this game. But the CU stuff is strictly marketing to more casual football fans.
