And the GQP will try to blame him for the bridge disaster too.

That's what happens when you skip leg infrastructure day week.

Unfortunately I don't think he'll ever get the nomination because of prejudice and lack of support from black voters.

My fantasy is Biden drops Kamala and picks Pete as his VP, then step down after the election. We need someone young, intelligent, and patriotic to lead this country.

I think Pete would run circles around pretty much everyone, both in his cabinet and other world leaders.  He is that smart, capable, and politically savvy.

He would be the leader we deserve.  But he's gay.  That's why this country is going to shit.

Oh... I thought that meme meant "cringe". My bad.

And yeah, sorry for calling you a bigot. That was meant at a joke. But I guess it was only haha on my end.

BTW, I think you should also be using this meme since I know your feelings for Pete.

While a student at Harvard, in the early two-thousands, Pete Buttigieg taught himself Norwegian in order to read more books by an author he liked. Not Spanish. Not for a class. Buttigieg, now the mayor of South Bend, Indiana, and a Presidential candidate, stumbled across the English translation of a 1996 novel called “Naïve. Super,” by Erlend Loe. The book, a best-seller in Norway, follows a twentysomething man who drops out of college after experiencing an existential crisis. As my colleague Benjamin Wallace-Wells recounted in a recent Profile, Buttigieg was “entranced” by the novel and started learning Norwegian so that he could work through the rest of Loe’s œuvre, which had not been translated into English. Recently, Buttigieg included “Naïve. Super” on a list of his ten favorite books of all time.

Now make yourself expire congressman. These people are complete morons. Couldn’t run a night shift at McDonald’s, but gets a little under 200k and lifetime health plan benefits to do absolutely nothing except be a person with an IQ south of 30 asking insanely stupid questions.

It’s fantastic how Pete never talks about being gay and Kamala never brings up being a woman or a minority.

They’re attitude is judge us for what we do and how we do it, not because we are  in a certain group.
That would have been an odd thing to mention in the clip about EVs, but I see your point.

Thinking an openly gay person isn’t going to get elected in America, by what I’m assuming is mostly Gen X posters on this site, is funny.

Im starting the Pete Buttigieg 2028 thread on November 6, 2024. We need options instead of the coup that happened. But most of all some of you need to be punished for the 2024 election thread starting back In fucking January or whenever it was. I will hold this grudge for life.

Just so we're clear, what grudge is that?

She absolutely should. Giving nominations away shouldn’t be standard. Her incumbency shouldn’t be looked at the same.

What about the situation was "standard?"

Starting an election thread in January, 10 months out.

So you plan to start one 46 months early? Are you sure that’s an effective strategy to demonstrate how inappropriate you think it is to start an election thread 10 months early?

And why would we need another thread? Why not just ask to have the title of the 2024 thread changed?

In fairness to this congressman, he saw a comment on a X post that stated that the Biden Admin is pumping up EV sales with taxpayers dollars. Perfectly reasonable to use that as evidence against the secretary of transportation in a hearing.
