For anyone hunting BTAC this year, the GTS is sublime. Gone is all the heat, and it really allows all that rich Stagg flavor come out. Can’t recommend enough.

The reviews I've read/listened to have been off the charts. Thanks for confirming. Cheers!

Well it’s the Holidays and the Tater’s and their mother in-laws are out in full force. Case in point, went to my local establishment and some lady was asking the store manager about this “special bourbon - Blanton’s maybe ?” That she needed for the holidays. Manager says he has some in back that just came in but only one bottle limit. She says yes please and the manager goes to get it. She then calls her Son-in-law to tell him to come get a bottle. She takes one bottle and then stands guard over another bottle for SIL while he presumably breaks all kinds of traffic laws getting there.

It’s getting pretty freaking ridiculous out there.

I like the bourbon cream, but it only works in a root beer ice cream float. The recipe on the Buffalo Trace website is great.
I've tried it in coffee and didn't like it.

Good to know. Will report back. I resisted cracking it open since I have A&W in the fridge.

First bottle of Evan Williams Single Barrel. Damn, that’s good juice for $25.

It really is good. When people complain about the bourbon craze, I always think of bottles like Evan Williams SB that people overlook. Always available and great.

Question. You’ve got let’s say $200 or so and need 4 bottles of bourbon. Total wine, Spec’s, etc. what you walking out with?

The Thanksgiving bar: Red and white wine of course, Eagle Rare, Bulleit, Blantons, Rare Breed 116 proof, and Jim Beam for the mixing drinks.  The brined, and seasoned turkey 1 in the oven now,  and turkey 2 ready for butter creole injection, and the fryer later today.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE .... CHEERS

To be fair, it’s cheaper than buying an AUS-LHR-NRT-AUS plane ticket.  Time-saver as well.

Haha yeah my momentary excitement was quickly squashed.

Not trying to s*** on the poster, but $266 for one bottle of regular ole Blanton’s is ridiculous. That said, I’m sure the Japanese  releases, black and red, are very tough to find.

Damn it went up. It was $1200 when few weeks ago.

Yea it’s over price, but I’m probably never gona find all of these at one time. I saw a few individuals for sale but they were more.

Single barrel and japanese versions go for $450 each. Green is like $200. I had a gold I found for $80 in a UK site...but it got finished at my wedding recently. So yea..this set is also to assist with marriage.

Man y’all need to get out a little. Myself and BigD payed $115 and $130 respectively for Gold and SFTB. The Japanese red and black go for $200-ish on secondary and Soecial Reserve is $130-$150. All prices include shipping
I have bought Gold and SFTB for roughy those prices as well. But that site's prices are absurd.

That is actually pretty cool. And seeing how I have spent more than my share of weekends in Vegas. $1600 is only a lot if you don’t have it
