I’ve kicked a tremendous hole in my bottom shelf. Anything of note off the well worn path for under $40?

Off the beaten path? No you of all people know the beaten path at the middle shelf is all pretty good- OF86 & 100, Craig, Weller, Larceny, etc

Assume that was directed at the NBC? Must say the maple Jack is damn tasty.

Keep your phone on. I’m sure there will be a fair amount of wine guys/scotch guys/bourbon purists that pass on corn whiskey at any age.

I’d much rather have a HH17, but yeah, I’ll take a Mellow Corn 20.

Where are you seeing these?  I haven't seen ER10 on the shelf in over a year.

The newish Spec’s on Fountainview is already booming.

Yeah, it'a nice Spec's. And not too picked over right now. They have more "desired" bottles available right now compared to other non-Smith St. locations.

What is the trade value for a 1L Weller 12--bottles, not money?  I'm probably going to keep it, but it's one of the few bourbons from the latest grand reserve raffle that I already have, so I'd consider trading for something I've never had.

It’s MGP but don’t know how old.

I believe it’s 4 year MGP (in Spanish Oak barrels) and then aged another 2 years in American Oak barrels. It’s great stuff, especially at the price point (I believe around $55).

This 7 yr MGP rye has all the pickle.
Couldn’t ask for a better evening on the patio watching baseball then Stars playoff hockey.

I need one of those glen toppers for outdoor drinking.

Do we need to do a Surly Pick of this to show those TexAgs waterheads how a pick should be done? I have a buddy who works for Skip’s who could probably make this happen.

I researched it over on TexAgs and of course they did the pick through Oak Liquor Cabinet.
