A small isolated town in Texas called Houston.  Apparently in some of the stores, they are putting some of the unicorns out with a limit of one per person per unicorn.  I bought most of them on the same day.

I’d they had any Elmer left, please PM the location.

Today was OK - Interested to give the new Blood Oath a try... hoping to God it’s better than that rum cask abomination!

What are the details on the new Blood Oath? I skipped it last year because they finished it in wine barrels. 2018 was overpriced, but pretty good.

How many trips did that take?

Under $50 ?!  Lets try under $25. There's a boat load of good hootch in the under $50 range.

First time venturing out in about a week. Bought 3 bottles for under $100 total at the local twin: Larceny Small Batch, Elijah Craig Small Batch, and Eagle Rare. The first two fit your definition. And the Eagle Rare wasn’t much more.

Under $25?

I can sometimes find EWSB for around $25 if it's on sale.

Elijah Craig

Tough to find OGD114 under $25 anymore in my locale, but I think it's still possible in some places.

Evan Williams BiB (white label) and 1783

Wild Turkey 101

Larceny

Buffalo Trace

I haven't tried Beam Bonded, but I read good things about it.

I think I recommended Redemption Wheated a few pages back, but if you haven’t tried it, it’s my sub-$50 pick of the year so far.  I think I paid $37 at Spec’s and then it beat out Maker’s RC6 and an OWA store pick side by side.  It’s MGP’s wheated mashbill and I cant wait for some of it to come out at 10 years old and barrel proof.  It’s not easy to find, but nobody is hoarding it or anything yet.

Bowman single barrel is also pretty solid and available for under $50. I need to try it side by side with something like Blanton’s and a Buffalo Trace store pick to see how it stacks up.

Haven't had it personally but a whole bunch of people have recommended Coopers Craft bottled in bond to me. I think it's around 30 bucks

I’ve seen Cream of Kentucky ($150) and a Kentucky Owl Bourbon ($260) recently on Drizly. Are either worth half the price they’re asking?

(I realize no bourbon is worth over $100 in a sane world)

I have both and say keep your money. Or, go buy a case of Woodinville/1910 for the same price.

Basil Hayden on line at Spec's for $63.99.

11 hour sale.

Don't know that I've had much of this but I thought I'd post it for the greater good of all mankind.  You know, making the world a better place and all.

Basil Hayden has to be Jim Beam's greatest mistake. Not good and overpriced.

I wish they'd work on making products like Jim Beam Urban Stillhouse Select more widely available.
