Yeah, those alone are worth about half of what I paid for it.

Guy that bought the seats tonight may come back for the whole thing, he wants the diff lock

my '98 4 runner limited was my favorite ride. Wish I still had it. Spent some time the last few years occasionally looking for 98-02 era 4 runners, but they are tough to find with less than 200K miles these days.

I had one with like 180k on it and an engine with less than 100k.

Aaaaaand I totalled it. Much worse than above pics.

it's sold

Very happy it's going to a guy with a 98 that has some issues. He's going to merge the two with his 14 year old kid for the kid's first car.

That's a hell of a first car.  Those things have aged really well and you pretty much have to mopac them or they'll run forever.

The first week of May I'll have owned my 97 for 20 years and I'd say 11 or so of that it was my daily.  I have 219K and it has never broke down on me.  I've replaced parts, like a starter, here and there over the years but it always gives me warnings well ahead of time.

It's the 1 car I have that I will never sale and am starting to plan an OEM restoration.  Your seats would have been perfect but they went to a good home.

the odds of which increase substantially when you give it to a 16 year old, unfortunately.

Yep. Lots of guys on the 4Runner forums with >300k miles and going strong.

2004 with 210k right now and hoping to make it another 2 years.  Then I'm buying a new one.

We bought 2 Toyotas in 2015, one of which is a 4Runner that my wife drives.  I covet that vehicle.  I keep offering to buy her something new -- a Volvo, a Subalesbo, whatever -- no luck.  It's such a great vehicle.
