BO&W entertains me with his stupidity and sometimes he’ll link to, or C&P, something worthwhile, so I don’t have him on ignore.

That said, he’s a title-ist imbecile and a general know-nothing, so when he’s vomiting on coaching search threads, I just scroll past every one of his posts without reading. It works quite well.

He is a leading American brand of golf equipment, particularly known for its golf balls, and is synonymous with quality and performance, especially in the professional golf world?

If it's a massive name it's gonna go down today while the bigger men's games are going on. If Miller then tomorrow so the news can lead into the women's game and work to boost that game.

Idk why you all think this will have any effect on tomorrow's game. It'll be a sold-out Moody Center regardless of what happens.

99% of viewers will be watching the women games on their tvs. Those tvs will be talking about Texas men's and women's basketball during the game. That's a good thing for both programs.

Well if the typical CDC timeline holds up, this means the replacement is ready which means it's probably not someone who is still in the tourney. In other words, it's Miller time meh (unless there's an absolute stunner with Mark Few)

Could also be McCollum from Drake. He'd also have the smallest contract buyout too since OTF said we don't want to pay a huge contract buyout. Idk what Sean Miller's is at Xavier.

It's weird that Miller is the only name anyone is leaking but everyone is saying there are multiple names.

That’s how a coach still in the tourney would want it.

But also it’s not exactly a CDC play to axe a coach when he’s not ready for the introductory presser the next day. Feel like that means Miller

Iowa locked him down yesterday

I could talk myself into being happy with Miller. March performance can be a crap shoot. Everyone except Few has multiple early exits. Good, experienced recruiter who can get slimy. Hasn’t had a $ advantage since shoe brands were footing the bill.

Fact of the matter is there’s nothing unique about this program to attract a championship caliber coach. Men’s basketball is maybe the only sport in college athletics where CDC’s hiring strategy doesn’t really play

Looking at some other schools without basketball pedigree: Auburn did it through putting on a blind fold to hiring a scumbag and Bama did it through hitting the lottery on an up and comer. If we’re not going those routes, Miller might be the best we can do and it is what it is. Fuck you Beard, why couldn’t you have had 1 fewer double whiskeys that night?

Sean Miller is the white Rodney Terry

Rodney Terry has won more NCAA tournament games than Sean Miller over the last three seasons.

Hispanic community, not great at basketball? Manu, Gasol brothers, Ricky Rubio, Ibaka, the list goes on and on of Hispanic greats.

A little surprised I haven't seen anyone mention Eric Musselman. I know his last 2 years were weak but before that he was a top name. Not that different from Sean Miller.

I would have thought we could have done better. Maybe not.

lol Self has a lifetime contract that pays him $10M/year

Yeah he’s not taking a pay cut. Hes going to have to tank hard to get let go from KU. Why start all over somewhere else in a harder conference?

This isn’t true, not at all.

What’s fucking over Texas is a) timing and b) caring about perception

this program is top 15 in all time wins in college basketball. It has a history. It has the means to win a NC. The coaches this website wants either have a large ass buyout or have already established top programs at their current P4 so there’s no need to leave.

Canary in the coalmine: Miller is 2 and 6 vs. Shaka Smart in the BE 2 neutral site losses in their tournament.

Pitino lost both to Marquette last year but swept their 3 meetings this season. Pitino 3-1 vs Miller.

Begged for him 4 years ago and was easily my #1 choice, don't see him leaving USC after a year especially given the croots he's got coming in
