Dawson is currently striking out less than 16% of his PAs. In 2019 he was around 30%, mostly in AA. He's not even at 100 PAs yet, so it is obviously early, but may be interesting to watch. I *think* K% tends to stabilize fairly quickly in the course of a season. His swinging strike % is way down so far. If this is a real improvement, he has a shot.

Yeah, based on his SwStr% if anything his K% should be lower than it already is. Hopefully they give him an extended look at some point.

Great job by Diaz.  It feels like we're rarely smart on the bases but by forcing that to be a tag play and not a force the run counts.

Bregs!  Gotta love 2-out rbis.

We damn near made the 3rd out of the inning at 3rd after already making the 1st out at 3rd.

night and day difference from what we've seen most of the year. hopefully he figured out the hiccup in his mechanics or stopped overthrowing or whatever it was but if Enoli can be the pitcher he was last year, this bullpen will be dramatically improved with Javier in the mix as well.

Now there's the bullpen we all know

105 mph on Marwinning's flyball and 108 mph on the HR

i had forgotten this was on espn.  are they saying anything good, or are they mostly commiserating about the yankees offensive woes?
It hasn't been that bad.

Ravech wants all games to be 7 innings though

Throw strikes, if they hit solo HRs every 2-3 outs, they aren't going to catch up. The walks are what are killing the bullpen.

True, at least Nivaldo didn't walk anybody

Yes, they mentioned that the Yankees had scored 6 runs in the last 4 games. It was at the tail end of the discussion that the Astros have struck out 200 times less than the Rays, but the Rays have the better record. Of course, they didn't mention that the Rays have a MLB bullpen, while the Astros have a mixture of AAAA and end of career guys.
