Their head groundskeeper is considered the best on the business. He’s had the job since 1983, and been employed by the White Sox since 1967. He took over from his dad, who had the job from 1940-1983. His grandfather and uncle also worked as groundskeepers.

Slight derail: This guy worked for his dad and grandfather: Jimmy Yancey.

All those Chicago blues guys were White Sox fans. Muddy Waters had a ritual: put the White Sox game on the TV and kick back with a float made of grape soda and cherry walnut ice cream.

I'm repulsed and intrigued at the same time.

Pleased to see Yordan in the lineup. I was a little worried about his hammy

Very surprised

Hopefully he just gets to trot around the bases four times.

Alex Bregman (quad) ran the bases at high intensity on Tuesday.

Bregman will do similar baserunning workouts over the next few days in Houston before potentially heading out on a minor league rehab assignment sometime this weekend. It's looking like the star third baseman might be back with the Astros before the end of the month. He's been on the IL since June 17 due to a severe quad strain.

If Altuve played for NYY, LAD or Bosox, there would be songs written about him, non-stop media adoration and what not.

He’s simply a bad ass.

Yeah I've been saying this for years...with his size and his career arc he would be the face of MLB and as popular as Jeter (if not more) if he played for the Yankees

Little known Altuve fact:

He was born with just one leg.  He’s actually playing on only his right leg and his dick.

I thought that it was a shit ton until I realized Rickey Henderson has 81, Craig Biggio 53, George Springer 39 👀
