The real magic number is 2 against the pale hosers.
never worried about the division but Chicago might not lose. 1 with reds and 3 with Tigers. Mariners were always going to lose a couple down the stretch imo.

Fantastic plate discipline by both Castro and Chas

Castro putting up a productive AB like that as a veteran should be expected. Really impressed by Chaz. That’s a big situation, down a run and scuffling, for a rook with a 35% k percentage.

Man the Dodgers or Giants are not going to like having that one gamer against the Cardinals. Would be too funny if the Dodgers go down.

rule #1 - win the division, avoid that WC game

Two outs with the bases empty in the top of the 8th on an 0-2 count?? Motherfucker did it on purpose and needs to get his ass beat into the ground.

Seriously.  Fucker threw two strikes to make sure everybody knew the beanball was intentional.

God I hate Joe Kelly. I really wish Marisnick would have charged the mound and beat that ass.

It’s just so bizarre that he became the Dodger’s enforcer against all things Astros when he wasn’t even on their 2017 team.

His obsession with it is absolutely bizarre and he deserves a suspension since his bitch ass is a reliever and gets to avoid the consequences of getting a fastball in the ribs for doing shit like this.  I wish a reporter would grow some nuts and ask him if he's going to bean himself since he played on a team that was also stealing signs.

He's just that kind of a special asshole.

Like I said in the other thread, it's for show. Players don't really care because they know how widespread sign stealing was. I doubt Joe Kelly really cares. He's entertaining the mob.

He wants to be relevant, and this is pretty much his only way to do that. It’ll probably turn out just as well for him as it has for Bauer…can’t wait.

Yeah- don’t get the Siri stuff. I’m fine with him (and support) the idea of having him as a pinch running specialist in the playoffs but he’s our 3rd best CF (4th if you count Tucker) and I’d just as soon not count on him to be any big part of the team going forward. He got scorching hot in AAA at the beginning of the year but he’s got too much swing and miss and at 26/27 he’s not going to be much better than he is right now.

Garcia sucking early tonight. Usually he waits until the 2nd half of the game.

He got 3 outs that inning and then a middling ground ball to the 4th hitter. I’m going to give him a break on that last inning.
