Slowest game I’ve ever attended. Lines sucked. Don’t care. Got the win. Drank a bunch. Ate chick fil and hot dogs. Saw the H‑E‑B guy, Andre Johnson and some fat guy that looked like the wolverine. Hopefully won’t be back for a couple of weeks.

If you’re not eating at Shake Shack or Pluckers at MMP you’re doing it wrong.

To the people that were pissed at Altuve for striking out earlier…….I think he made up for it.

The bigger fuck up was the error that led to two more runs for the Red Sox when it should have been an inning-ending gidp. But yes, he made up for it.

Garcia has to be on his game today and give us at least 5 innings.

From Kaplan this morning:

Here was the Astros’ path to 19 outs from their bullpen:

RHP Yimi Garcia: one batter, one out
RHP Cristian Javier: seven batters, six outs
RHP Phil Maton: four batters, three outs
LHP Brooks Raley: three batters, two outs
RHP Ryne Stanek: one batter, one out
RHP Kendall Graveman: four batters, three outs
RHP Ryan Pressly: four batters, three outs

MLB can suck a dick....astros get the day game after a night game so that the precious Dodgers can have the night game? Houston v Boston way more interesting series

It's fine.  The fans will still be nuts, and Garcia has less time to think about his start today.

Of course he did.  He has a little bit of credit at the Astros Fans Trust&  Fidelity Fund. That doesn’t mean that striking out with the bases juiced and only one out wasn’t a terrible AB.  Then add on flooding the potential double play ground ball, and yeah, it sucked.

It doesn’t mean We stopped loving the motherfucker, but it was a sudden flashback to the microcosm of bad Altuve that was the 2020 reg season.  He kind of somewhat worked out of it…

Or stick with the hot bat.

sure, but both have been hitting in the playoffs and ideally I think the Astros would like to get both of the at bats. Meyers is better defensively in cf than Chas so this is pretty good indicator that he's not ready to play imo.
