It's why I skipped games 1 and 2 of the ALCS (and the other 3 ALDS games). Definitely thinking about not turning it on, but it's hard to keep skipping.

As i tell lilshep, enjoy these past 6 years of astros baseball as much as possible. Generations of fans never saw this amount of sustained success. Wish my grandfather and dad were around to see this. Greatest time to be a astros fan. Know i waited 36 years for it in 2015.
Most important game tonight. Need to start breathing orange fire

Yeah, but we cheated so it doesn't mean as much.

Siri might have a great game but Chas has been hot and he’s reliable. Don’t agree with the move.

I don't mind the move because Siri is on the playoff roster and will more than likely be called upon to PH, run,  or as a defensive substitution, so this is a good time to get his feet wet. Chas is game-ready, as is Meyers, but we need to get Siri ready as well. I like the idea of getting him at bats tonight and I like the swagger he brings. I'm not gonna bitch about our #8 hitter having less plate discipline than Brantley or Bregman when he sports an OPS of 1.078 vs lefties (yes, small sample size but his OPS vs LHP in AAA was .957). Swang and bang.

Fucking Fox shit wads advocating continuously variable strike zone depending on the umpires judgement of the progress of the game to keep games under 4 hours.  Why don't we move to the tennis model instead? Let an impartial machine do it.

I like the Siri move. The guy has some serious pop and is a better defender than Chaz.

That said, a healthy Meyers should be the Astros starting CF.

siri has a cannon, hope he guns someone down tonight

I like it too and think the consternation over this move is a bit over the top. He's not the guy who is supposed to be doing the heavy lifting in the lineup and he has some serious pop and speed for that place in the order. I realize the experience question is important but nobody does anything until they've actually done it. I'd rather Siri get broken in this game than later in the series.

I guess the thinking is they should pitch Garcia as often as possible at home, so he got the ball in Game 2. It still doesn’t explain starting him in Game 3 against the White Sox.

Urquidy needs the ball more.
