So are they going to play at Dunedin all year?  Wasn't there talk of going back to Buffalo once it got hot in Dunedin/out of lake effect snow season in Buffalo?

How many times is the game going to be stopped tonight for meatheads throwing shit on the field?

Will the benches clear?

Will the Yankees still suck?

Will Altuve still be their daddy?

So many burning questions

Blair Henley getting the opening day start tonight for Asheville.  He's performed better as a prospect than I would have expected given his tenure at Texas.

He had good stuff, shitty coaching. And the defense in his 3 years at Texas was abysmal. 32 unearned runs when he was on the mound.

He definitely has better stuff than I thought he had playing at Texas - i've read his curveball spin is over 3000 RPM for instance, which is about what Framber spins his at and Framber's is one of the best curveballs in the game.  It's odd for a pitcher to go from 7.6 SO/9 in D1 to 12+ SO/9 in the NYPL.  Not a good look for the Texas coaching staff at all.

I imagine it may be hard to hit a baseball when you are dodging batteries.

Netting should help.

but would hate to be Brantley or Tucker this series

maybe we move Straw to one of the corners to be in the firing line

How about we just bench Straw and try Tucker in Center with Diaz in RF?  Tucker is a pretty good defender and might be okay in CF if they are willing to give him a chance.

Benching straw means he’d still be available tomorrow.

Putting him in line of fire of D batteries from the bleacher creatures could at least force him through concussion protocol/ 10 day IL.

Loudest boos will be during Altuves first AB.  They were the loudest against him prior to all this shit, so this is gonna be outrageous lol BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

The ESPN coverage is so ducking one sided already...and totally predictable. They mentioned Altuve’s walk off in 2019 (which he was cleared of) but Why do they never mention the damning report the Yankees had suppressed in order to not let their dirty secrets out?? And we learned the entire sign stealing but from Beltran who had just come from NYY. Bunch of fucking Hippocrates...

The Yankees starting pitcher tonight assaulted his girlfriend in front of the rest of his teammates, but sure we are the bad guys.
