So if we don't get a storybook ending, it's still been a hell of an awesome 7 years.  How many teams wouldn't trade their last 7 years for ours?

Perhaps the Dodgers, but their sole WS win was in a gimmick 60-game season and tourney.  It's own asterisk derision.

Every other team is jealous of us.

It would have been even better had they not gone full retard and decided to cheat in 17 when it was (or probably was) unnecessary.

Actually, listening to Correa over the last few weeks, he seems to be hinting at listening to a hometown discount.

Not that I have confidence that Click's background and philosophy will find a way to make it happen.

I want to believe this, but Evan Gattis and Marwin Gonzalez.

That is a decent silver lining

He’s been playing up these post game broadcasts with Arod and Papi.  He’s gonna take the money and run.

Any chance we nail Soler by showboating his homer earlier?

Pretty sure that ball found it's way onto 45 and is probably dead by now.  Or it sailed to the bayou and that lonely alligator ate it.

all right, guys.  that's it for me.

great season.  overachieved with the bullpen, starting staff held together with duct tape just hit the wall against the best lineup in the nl and one of the best in baseball.  we've seen plenty of times when our bats went cold over the past several years and this is no different.  just bad timing.  hat tip to atlanta, they got it done.

we'll be back next year, with or without correa.  of this i am confident.

go stros.  let's get drunk.

Is this part of our punishment? Secretly agreed to throw a WS because of “the scandal”.

What is this bullshit?  The redsox did it (alot), the yankees did it, the dodgers did it, the cubs did it.  Shit even arizona did it.

There was no scandal except the one manufactured by the media.

Bullpen reverting to form.  Which can happen when way overused.

Sorry apologists, but Click is the biggest reason we aren't winning a title.  No manager is perfect, and Dusty has done great as a whole.  Not at all on him.  He can only use what he's given.  For nearly 2 years every fan with half a brain has said our pitching was our biggest weakness.  Click didn't do near enough.  Injuries happen, he cut it too close, like a just in time business with a hedge fund ownership.

He's not the worst GM, but he blew what could have been Correa's last year here.  This was the year to grab another ring.

It's a huge credit to the players and coaches that they gutted it out this far.

Winning the division is going to be much tougher next year.

Not that it matters but dumb to pull Fried here.  With a 7 run lead, why not let him try to throw a CGSO to win the WS?  Pull him if he puts 2 runners on.

Lol. Pitching is definitely not why we lost this World Series.
