I read it. It says enforce previous policy.

Whose previous policy?

Do some research. The facts of the issue will shatter your little worldview. You’ll probably cry but you’ll come away a more informed person. Maybe you’ll even learn what a fact is

You're telling me it never happened during Obama's term? Never?

I'm not. I guessed eleven earlier in the thread. It"s been asked multiple times and you're bringing it up again. You seem interested in the subject.

I guessed eleven.

What's you're guess?

It doesn't. That's the point. It isn't a law. It's something they are doing as a matter of policy. They can stop any time they want to.

I agree it's awful. Let's say the stop separating children from their parents immediately. What is your solution to the problem? Catch and release?

Yeah, no.  You guys are trying to claim that the folks fleeing violence and poverty in in South and Central America should stop in Mexico where almost the same conditions are present.

I'm saying they have a choice that is not the problem of the US government.  Escape your situation, you claim is dangerous, and stay in the closer country Mexico till you go back to your country of origin.  As you say they shouldn't move into the Northern part of Mexico where it is dangerous.

Economic relief, escape from poverty, is not a valid asylum request IIRC.

All I see is a renewal of previous policies.

Where is the part about "ripping kids away from their parents and send them to concentration camps"?

https://www.vox.com/2018/6/11/17443198/children-immigrant-families-separated-parents

You won’t read it bc you’re a worthless troll, but this seriously has the answers. Referring everyone to criminal prosecution mandates family separation, which had caused over at least 1,000 children to be separated from their parents since last April.

“Typically, people apprehended crossing into the US are held in immigration detention and sent before an immigration judge to see if they will be deported as unauthorized immigrants.

But migrants who’ve been referred for criminal prosecution get sent to a federal jail and brought before a federal judge a few weeks later to see if they’ll get prison time. That’s where the separation happens — because you can’t be kept with your children in federal jail.”

the zero tolerance policy refers even asylum seekers to criminal prosecution. Oh, also we don’t do even a decent job at attempting to reunite families once the parents are released.

But please - continue with your ignorant bullshit

Isn't that point a bit different in that the asylum seekers who are crossing illegally are the ones who are being prosecuted as opposed to the lucky few who are able to secure appointments at the legal asylum checkpoints?

This is fucking disgusting. What the hell is wrong with these people? People in the detention making jokes about kids crying. What the fuck is wrong with us?

These people have no hearts. Just a black void where it should be.  That's why they live so long - there's nothing to stop ticking.

This is what happens when you dehumanize a class of people.  As history has repeatedly shown, it gets worse and worse unless stopped by opposition.

Where's the policy? Post more pictures.

That is the memo from the Attorney General instituting a zero tolerance policy at the southern border. It is not a continuation of previous policies. On the contrary, it says in plain English that, "This zero-tolerance policy shall supersede any existing policies."

Belize. Might even retire there.

Same here, but check out their immigration laws.

You can buy or rent property, move around the country without hindrance, but you are not allowed to work. The immigration laws require that when you renew your visitor permit, you need to show proof of sufficient funds to stay in Belize.

Are you deranged? You keep foaming at the mouth about Trump ripping kids away from families, and claiming that it never happened until Trump.

Who gives a fuck. Let his dick out of your mouth. The problem is that it shouldn't be happening at all. Why won't your orange god fix it?

Today was not a good day for Trump defenders here. Literally not a single one was left with a shred of argument by the end.   Embarrassing showing.

The Republican Party is showing signs of panic. This is a very, very bad look and they know it. It's only going to get worse until they stop it.

Yea because Belize has became a great and prosperous country by getting immigrants to do the dirty work since forever.

Stop with stupid analogies

So this is why you're so concerned? So we can have more bodies for cheap labor and dirty work?

The Traffic Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008  says it's a law.

And the trolling doesn’t stop. I’m sorry you are a piece of shit whose brain doesn’t properly function.

There is no law that requires immigrant families to be separated. The decision to charge everyone crossing the border with illegal entry — and the decision to charge asylum seekers in criminal court rather than waiting to see if they qualify for asylum — are both decisions the Trump administration has made.”

She's not busy, and the Foundation got all those donations. Maybe she should go down there and take care of everybody.

(3) TRANSFERS OF UNACCOMPANIED ALIEN CHILDREN.— Except in the case of exceptional circumstances, any department or agency of the Federal Government that has an unaccompanied alien child in custody shall transfer the custody of such child to the Secretary of Health and Human Services not later than 72 hours after determining that such child is an unaccompanied alien child

----   c.2
