One thing that was interesting.  When Gabriel was settting, the tipping virtually disappeared.  When Shook came back in, it magically reappeared.

Yep, good observation!

Just for fun, I kinda want to see what a 5-2 would look like with Shoot setting on front row and Gabriel subbing to set on the back row.

Gabriel's defense, coverage, serve, and footwork getting under passes looked somewhat better than Shook, but having a taller block and setter attack option with Shook at the front would be helpful.

Thing about this match is we can get right back in this with just a little bit of ball control. Our block has been god awful but Kansas still has termination issues.

I have no trust in the ability to get any ball control though.

That might work....we would need Logan to play all the way around or we would run out of subs.

Luketic isn't overwhelming, but she's effective.

Seems like she is hitting the ball harder tonight....probably heard me say she doesn't have the arm to play at this level....

Kansas ball control hasn't been great tonight. We can absolutely win this if we just get our shit together.

We're giving away free points on service errors, net violations, and terrible sets. Kansas will give us points if we just minimize the mistakes.

She doesn't blast straight into the block, which you can't say for everyone.

Tonya seems worthless as a coach....Elliott needs to get an assistant that can coach SETTING.... Ashley Engle, Michele Kocher, Hannah Allison, and Chloe Collins all improved when Salima Rockwell was here....Chloe was lucky to have Evan Sanders (who was a volunteer assistant coach) and is now an assistant at Colorado as a setter coach...Ashley definitely needs one!

KU has zero reason for confidence.  We reduce the errors slightly and they lose both sets badly and get swept.

we will win this if we just get a little bit of ball control.

Have wondered about this.  We seem to have declined since Salima left, especially now that no one has been coached by her.

One thing that seems to characterize our losses or poor play is when the opponent is digging really well.  We just don't dig that well.

I keep seeing that we have bad spacing on defense a lot too.
