Just like Looch, these early lists are what let us know how awful ob and rivals are at ranking. They'll adjust over the year once all the competitors weigh in but these early lists are peak fat'ketch.

Folks, this is one of those times that it’s important to remember that Ketch is a fat fucking retard. I don’t put much stock in his opinions on anything maybe other than the nuances of flavors of gravy.

We've been the perceived leader here for a while. This is supporting documentation. Could be top 10 in-state.

The staff successfully locked in Billy BA and Sanders last summer, let's see if they can capitalize and lock in some 2022s this summer.

Couple more CBs for Walker Howard, to LSU

"Louisiana is set to have a run on talented quarterbacks beginning with the 2022 class, and the headliner of the group in next year's recruiting cycle is St. Thomas More sophomore Walker Howard.

Howard's last name is familiar for Louisiana football fans. His father, Jamie Howard, was a quarterback at LSU from 1992-95. Howard finished his career in Baton Rouge as the third-leading passer in LSU history with 6,158 yards. He finished second in program history with 34 touchdown passes. Howard, a two-sport athlete, also played professional baseball.

Now, his son, Walker, is out to create his own legacy."

He's from the heart of Big 10 country. Any Texas ties that would explain his interest? He has clearly visited, which I a prerequisite for me to believe there is a chance for an OOS recruit.

He's probably tired of the winter weather and wants to experience something better

He seems like an academic-focused kid - 3.8 GPA in his profile, and his top schools Notes blurb is incredibly well written for a top recruit. Westerville South is also a good high school in a pleasant suburban town. Could be a real culture fit.:

At first glance, his father is retired military so he may have lived in Texas previously. He's also on the Bo Jackson Elite travel baseball team - so again, without knowing anything about him - he could be a guy that would like to play baseball as well.

This one wasn’t going to be offered until Week 3 for reasons unknown. But he’s going to commit soon to another program

Ok bud if he's committing somewhere else anyway quit playing footsie and drop the name.

I hope not. I have coached against his 7s team for several years and have a friend whose son plays on the team. He is a good QB but not great. I coached against Sam's 7s teams as well and CK is not close to Sam's talent or ability.

Speaking of 2022 McKinney kids to look out for, y’all remember that TE from McKinney North last year that blew up towards the end of the cycle and signed with Auburn? He has a younger brother that is pretty good IMO:

I think Dylan is more of an athlete than Brandon was. Dylan was the district newcomer of the year as a sophomore ly in a pretty tough district. He’s a basketball player as well.

so he wanted to commit to UT without even having an offer?

Not sure I buy a top 100 kid from Louisiana who is an LSU legacy was looking to commit to Texas before getting turned away

Also, as mentioned, he never reported a Texas offer

I know it’s hard to believe but I wouldn’t post something just to post it. Yes he is an LSU legacy but that didn’t matter. If that’s the case the Brocks would be committed already.

You may be right. It doesn't matter. We're chasing Ewers, there's no reason to take a 4* now. And, frankly, if we did land Ewers he would have decommitted anyway. Wouldn't make any sense.

QUINN EWERS

OU 247 reporter Brandon Drumm rated the Sooners chances of landing the five-star 2022 Southlake Carroll quarterback at 60 percent, with OU leading. To his credit, he does mention his percentage is subject to change “because he likes Texas too. All depends on how things shake out in the next 5-6 months, imo.”

This is partially right in our eyes. Ewers definitely likes Texas and would like to see how things shake out with the new coordinator. My feeling is Ewers knows what OU will be but he’s very intrigued by what Mike Yurcich does with Ehlinger.

We do not think OU leads, but that isn’t to say UT does. It isn’t our opinion that Texas has to have a perfect season but the overall passing game has to be varied and productive. A lot of players view their college choice through the lens of how it helps prepare them for the NFL. That’s Ewers. A big jump in the eyes of NFL scouts for Sam Ehlinger would go a long way.

As we’ve mentioned, this recruitment won’t be a roller coaster but it could become a whirlwind. Things could move quickly when visits are restored.

Don't mind me.. I'm just being snobby.  Wish the Brocks and Ewers were made of the same gung ho-ness and committed as soon as a Texas offer was made like this kid would do, allegedly.
