Texas Recruiting Notes 2022 - Idiotic Slapfights Unrelated To 2022 Recruiting

Pathetic Aggie conferring with Alabama fans as though their programs are in the same tier. "We didn't really want him. How about you?" "He's good. We're recruiting him but he's not high on the list."

Aggie was sooooo hoping for knowing nod and hand over the shoulder about the futility of little brother tu. "Hey, we're all friends here, right? We all want to prove we're better than Texas, right?"

Pathetic.

They learned their true value quite recently. No amount of sheepville fantasies, praying, or sucking bama fans' dicks will change that.

This does remind me it’s not all doom and gloom. RB, DL, TE, LB and possibly QB if a certain hall of fame legacy commits to us are stocked at Alabama like levels. Our problems are just so concentrated to a few position groups and that’s fucking annoying.

Oh yes. Lets encourage another EDGE to think he should be catching balls on offense.

Almost every recruit we get is the most dynamic and best player on his team. His HS coach’s job is to get him near the ball on almost every snap of the game.

They never learn their true value or their place. It's the greatest school in the world with an honor code and traditions and everything! Evil forces keep the world from recognizing that. They counteract that by spinning statistics, lying, and making endless comparisons of their close losses with other team's losses or even wins.

Losing to Clemson close is sooo much better than tu's two touchdown win over Kansas. It's pretty much a win for the Aggies if they compare it to our loss(es) to Maryland.

They're graduates average more income than tu grads unless you compare it by type of degree. tu graduates a lot of social workers and teachers, an aggie refers to them as basically worthless endeavors (on SEC rant last night). They were called on this by other SEC members.

Nobody cares enough about them to keep their giant sleeping. They slept they giant by being so fucking weird and backward.

On3 Scoop:

RB Jamarion Miller, Legacy (Tyler, TX) (TEXAS) - 2022:

Miller put on a show for his senior debut on Friday night. A four-year varsity letterman, he notched 148 yards rushing on 13 carries, one touchdown, and another 39-yard scoring scamper negated by illegal procedure.

The 5-foot-10, 205-pound ball-carrier had a nice day at the office, and after next week's tilt with crosstown rival Tyler High, he'll be headed to Austin for Saturday's game vs Louisiana.

No. 82 in the On300, Miller holds 20+ offers and still hears from a handful of schools. Texas A&M, Florida, and Alabama have reached out, but Miller insists he's Texas bound. He still wants to see a few college games outside of UT, so IT wouldn't be shocked if he caught a few contests later in the season.

The Texas Longhorns are recruiting in the state of Connecticut. Two prospects have the staff's attention.

One is a class of 2022 prospect that was originally in the 2021 class. Cornerback Da’Quan Gonzales is a 5-foot-11, 175-pound versatile defensive back out of Jensen Beach High in South Florida that is prepping at The Loomis Chaffee School. Gonzales had 20 plus offers at one point as a junior, including LSU, Ole Miss, South Florida, Arkansas and Wake Forest. An injury his senior season brought his recruitment to a grinding halt. When the offers he wanted were no longer a possibility, Gonzales opted for a year of prep school. A terrific student with Ivy League offers has added appeal as a January 2022 enrollee.

With Texas having it’s hands full with Alabama in the Justice Finkley (Hewitt-Trussville, AL) recruitment, IT is paying even closer attention to J’Mond Tapp (Donaldsville, LA). Tapp is similar to Finkley as a plus sized EDGE. He is also hearing from Alabama, along with instate LSU. Texas is currently in a strong position but Tapp isn’t in a hurry to decide.

Tapp would probably be more likely to end up in the class than Finkley at this time.

*****

Texas continues to be in a very good spot for On300 No. 69 Jaray Bledsoe (Marlin High). The 6-foot-4, 280-pounder has a very strong relationship with Texas defensive line coach Bo Davis. To say the Longhorns would be extremely pleased with a three-man interior class of No. 55 Kristopher Ross (North Shore), No. 69 Bledsoe and No. 157 Aaron Bryant (Southhaven, Miss.) would be an understatement.

That is quite a kick in the nuts considering we were hoping for Harris, Anderson, and Brooks.

Idk what's more surprising, that they're so bearish on Finkley (I thought we had a great chance there given his whole Books thing), or that they think we have a chance of taking Tapp from LSU
