Cracks me up that he flat out tells everyone that Sark and Flood are the right guys yet, people will argue that they aren’t. He played for all 3 coaches.  I will take his opinion over the keyboard warriors that think they know better.

Because graduating sixth year seniors are known to shit on their college programs on the way out the door? Because players inherently know what effective management looks like?

You probably think Charlie Strong should be here because players liked him.

I think a player’s perspective who has been under the past 3 coaching staffs is more valuable than us idiots, yea.

It may be taboo at this juncture, but, any pending commitment news?  Or, is it bloodletting time for coaching staff and players destined for the portal?

We’ve moved recruiting news to the W Anderson Lane thread in Food and Travel.

well you do have to admit that Sark compared to Charlie/Watson(idiot) and Herman(drunk and add Warehime) is gonna look like an upgrade.

A little concerned about Finkley and Michigan now because of the game result. Michigan looks back finally, well ahead of us.

Dr. Fink seems locked in, and that’s the one that matters it seems.

Finkley was at our game yesterday.  His finals three were Texas, Bama', and Colorado.

Could we ever have the patience for the Harbaugh long game? Doubt it.

Harbaugh came in as one of the top coaches in football and won 10 games 2 years in a row to kick things off. We wouldn't have fired him at any point.

You mean like we did with Mack Brown?!

We shouldn’t have the patience with Sarkisian because he’s already proven that he’s mediocre - he’s never been anything but mediocre. Harbaugh has proven capable at SD, Stanford, the 49ers, and Michigan. Respect is earned by results. Patience comes with that respect. Mack got it here, if Sark had that kind of history he’d get it but he doesn’t and simply hadn’t earned that level of respect/patience.

Stop being such a dipshit..

Harbaugh having patience is what almost cost him his fucking job. He spent years defending bad coaches on his staff and attempting to force an offensive philosophy that simply did not match his talent on campus. What happened? He had a gun put to his proverbial head and was told this was it; make the fucking changes that even the casual fans knew were needed... or else. And the cunt did it. The reason they are celebrating on that field right now is because he finally made a significant change on defense and brought in Macdonald, that fucking badass from the Ravens, to be his DC. The impact was clear and immediate.

If anything this success by Michigan is an argument AGAINST having patience. Good assistant coaches do not need years to succeed. Their impact should be immediate and positive or they are shit. Not saying everything will or should work out perfectly like with Michigan right off the bat but when you see wholesale regression and incompetence there is no reason or need to keep jerking off the same corpse hoping it'll miraculously revive itself. Patience, and you, can go fuck itself.

He’s already moved to Austin and his mom is all UT. Fuck around somewhere else.

So we now currently have a two year running class at LB of only Blackwell and a guy coming off major injury in Trevell Johnson.

It’s cool.  the decommit was a bad take.  Air is better.

Processed a guy whose commitment we took less than four months ago. Did he have a really shitty senior season?

They were HS teammates so they should be able to communicate.

I have no idea about Finkley but Harbaugh has never won less than 8 at Michigan(not counting stupid covid year) with now 4 double digit win seasons.  Michigan has been well ahead of us since Hoke got canned.  My guess though is if Finkley isn't with us it won't be because of the outcome of that game.

I don’t know what San Diego was like before he got there but he went 29-6 overall and got the Stanford job. He then proceeded to go 4-8, 5-7, 8-5 and ultimately 12-1 the last year he was there. It’s not a stretch to say Texas fans and boosters would be wanting him fired by year 3 after going 8-4 in the regular season.

I still agree with you that Sark doesn’t deserve a pass for this season because outside the Oline, which was better by a slim margin towards the end, no other position got better.

edit: record mess up in ‘09. Went 8-4 and lost the bowl game.

this. Sark isn't going to survive with shitty defensive coaching because he has no way of knowing how to fix it.

Man I feel like such a dipshit now, reading your post. My point is that Harbaugh had the stench of failure and seemed like a bust, not long ago. I honestly think we might have fired him a few years ago.

Agree regarding Harbaugh, but Macks sub .600 record at NC doesn’t really merit much more benefit of the doubt than Sark at this point. Going 9-3 year one helped tho.

1-4 in bowl games at Michigan, 1-5 against Ohio state and no big 10 championships! But lets shit on our DC after year one, you sure as fuck don’t respect PK for his 20 years of results. You could cut that hypocrisy with a knife.

And he’s 2-3 against Michigan State. One win and he suddenly fucks? Nah but he could be turning it around and every player on that roster he recruited.

Stop being so short-sighted. They're 11-1, going to play for the Big10 Championship, and they'll likely make the playoff. We'd sacrifice half this fucking board for that shit.

He's a proven head coach and has rebuilt what was a terrible Michigan program. Sure, it took a while, but Michigan fans sure as hell don't give a shit right now.

Ok, but only the half that includes the assholes.
