Surprised he picked aggy over Bama.  But he wasn’t coming here and hasn’t for a while.  His dad basically said as much when he committed to us.

Idk why. You have an incompetent passing offense on one end and an offense led by Bill O’Brien on the other. Texas definitely should have been in the mix.

We aren't that far behind especially in regards to Aggy, Bijan has probably made close to a million, Worthy is likely in the 300k-500k range, and we have a couple of NIL announcement coming down the pipeline. A lot of NIL shit just isn't public, and the players don't care for it to be, likely because they don't want to become marks.

Not just that. Because when fans know and the kids don't produce, guess who is getting lit up on their social media.

outside of autographs, I would very much love to know how someone can keep a deal based off their name image and likeness quiet. The numbers behind it sure, but they actually have to do something for it to fly otherwise it’s just dropping a bag which they are proficient in

Because their compliance don’t demand to see work performed.

And Hudson just committed to TCU.  This staff fucking sucks.  Maybe we can fight Baylor and Tech for some recruits.
It wasn't like he was going to commit to us. We've sucked for over a decade, face it we're a volleyball, baseball, basketball, S&D school.

I don’t believe we were ever really going after Hudson.

Kid was committed to the same staff at a lower tier school. What part of this equation was difficult for you?

Maybe C.J. Williams is back in play now that Kelly is gone.

There is absolutely no reason to keep Coleman until NSD. He’s a complete liability and firing him now would actually be a signal to recruits that Texas is serious about upgrading the position.

Softball, tennis, and golf too.

The recruiting battle of us vs. aggy is only going to tip further in their direction with the way enrollments are going.  They have 70K students that view football on the same level as jizz jars and dead dogs.  We have 50K students that came here to play school.  Which alumni base is going to have more money to burn in NIL deals going forward?  We're on our way to being Cal and Stanford.

This has got to be the least “Flipmas”season you could draw up, no?

Maybe it’s time to announce that super secret, badass NIL news, Belmont?  Or, should we sit tight on that until after SD2?

I’m 100% in agreement that we need to dump our WR coach - but I’m not sure what Coleman has to do with what happened today.

God dammit Stewart is going to be Worthy level good no matter where he plays.

So was Demas, until he wasn’t. We’ll see.  Having two of them for no reason is a good problem for aggy to have though

Plonsky is chortling at this development to herself right now in her preowned Subaru.

If the only choices are cal/Stanford or aggy, well I wouldn’t choose to be aggy.

I would never want to be aggy, but what's more important: football or everything else?

The reasons cited for not firing coaches already is the potential impact on recruiting. Coleman is an absolute zero in recruiting and our lone WR commit has nothing to do with him. Firing him now has no impact on recruiting so we shouldn’t waste any more time having him on our staff. Having an open position helps clarify who is potentially an option. The Stewart and Hudson news should only solidify the fact that having Coleman around for recruiting optics ahead of NSD is a waste of everyone’s time. The man is more slothful version of Giles.

So, Sark won’t be changing up any staff, Banks is on the road handing out offers to 2-stars, and the portal doesn’t seem to have one of those Stargate wormhole openings in Austin….?

Damn, some of you are so impatient. We're going to get portal players as well as a few staff members...relax and go back to the pond turtle.

We have to talk ourselves into offering a LB that our other recruits are friends with.

Especially with all these coaching changes. Good candidates are going to get swiped up.

FWIW - IT thinks the Red offer is possibly a part of something else. Red plays on True Buzz (which has several high profile players) and the coach was there during the in-home.

We already have an established relationship with True Buzz, we offer their guys all the time. Winfield was a True Buzz guy, Jamel Johnson our 2023 commit is a True Buzz guy.

What’s that about? Can I get the cliff notes?

That’s pretty much it. IT seem confused by the offer but think it may be related to True Buzz. As mentioned above Winfield and Johnson are on that team but there apparently are a couple more as well.
