I thought Campbell was signing NSD1 and keeping it quiet. Is that not for sure?

That was Neto

So in other words we don’t have a chance

Nahlin actually said Perkins not signing in Dec is huge because 1) it doesn't give momentum to A&M, 2) he's part of the Houston group and if thing play out well this weekend, we could be getting a lot of momentum there

Our best pass rusher(not all that impressive ) declaring for the NFL draft? Think he was given a hint, someone else lined up?

Jones had no eligibility left. Not sure why he worded his announcement the way he did.

If I am remembering correctly 105.3 the fan once said he was the human version of a brown leather belt and nothing has ever made more sense.

How do you live in Dallas and listen to 105.3 the fan...

I rank the fish remaining ...

1. Ewers - QB. Starting QB with very high-end anticipation and natural passer talent. Hughe perception win needed badly.
2. Banks - three year LT, and off to NFL draft
3. Perkins - rare athlete at LB, and such a need for Texas right now. Would be huge perception win when Texas needs it.
4. Devon Campbell - OG that is such a high-end talent
5. Neto Umeozulu - Banks and Neto give you something to jacked up about at LT and RT long term.
6. The player I mentioned expected to jump in portal shortly. Immediate starter at a position of need.
7. Denver Harris - high-end talent at corner. Position of need,
8. Kam Dewberry - likely an IOL long term, but again it's perception wins needed in the program.

I am tired of "perception wins" turning out to not be very good football players. We don't need any more of those thank you.

Sucks that the two 5-stars we supposedly lead for might both wait until February to sign (Campbell and Banks). Need to get them to shut it down

K, but perception often drives recruiting of the highest caliber of player (hi Harold Perkins).

If the transfer player is ranked ahead of Harris, I have to think that is OL, LB or S.

i think the transfer player represents the friends we made along the way.

or it’s a linebacker.

the "player not yet in the portal" stuff sounds a lot like the "last second flips" we used to hear about that never occurred. It's an old $9.95er trick to keep everyone's attention.

Yup. First rule of $9.95 club is always act like you’ve got scoop you’re holding on to. Second rule of $9.95 club is always act like fatass Ketch and blab something that wasn’t supposed to be mentioned.

On the bright side, sources on all sides seem to have UT in the lead for Banks at the moment. The question is whether he signs next week or drags it out until NSD2 giving more time for us to blow it.

Update with On3 5-star and No. 17 overall for 2022 Little Elm defensive back Terrance Brooks.

Brooks, Ohio State pledge, is a spiritual dude, who really needs and wants to pray about this.. he’s torn, sources tell IT. Texas is squarely in it.

He’s big on relationships and doesn’t really have one with the new DC at Ohio State, which are heavy on coaches, so it remains to be seen who is out on the Buckeyes’ coaching staff.

IT knows his dad, former NFL cornerback Chet Brooks, is big on development and seeing progression in his game.

This is a fun development.
