Texas Recruiting Notes 2022 - Idiotic Slapfights Unrelated To 2022 Recruiting

Sark must have told Armani 'no'.  But no one told the CB's.  Damn - everyone was wrong.

So either Law (who may not stick at WR) or extreme long-shot Stewart - and then we hit the portal hard as fuck.

FWIW - Wells said that he assumed we already had a plan at WR in the portal because of the players we didn't reach out to.  Said usually that means you already have the player you want - they just haven't gotten into the portal yet.

Sark must have told Winfield no thanks

Could be. Bold move at the position given where things stand.

It was also reported at one point that the staff wanted to have a frank conversation with him about whether or not he really wanted to be at Texas when he was warning back up. Maybe that didn’t go well, either the staff didn’t hear what they wanted it it turned Winfield off.

Maybe Baylor stroked his ego and the chance to be the big fish in the small pond looked good.

Maybe it’s something else entirely. Kind of stings to lose Sark’s first commit, and as a Lewisville alum I wanted to see him at Texas - not too many really high caliber players come out of there. Good luck to him, but I hope Terrance Brooks eats his lunch on the field.

I'd like to officially announce my official commitment to the "Shazz and/or Winfield committed elsewhere 'cause we gonna flip Stewart" tin-foil-hat club.

Why do this against all logic? Because fuck it, mainlining uncut hopium from time to time is what makes this hobby fun.

This is where I’m at. As many rabbits as Sark has pulled out of his ass today/the last week I refuse to believe he got beat by f’n Baylor for Armani f’n Winfield. Dude is playing chess and ears is eating the monopoly houses because they look like Christmas edition M&M’s.

So then when is the next one to watch for?

This class already kicks serious ass, but fuck it Im greedy

Stewart, Law, and LTG are all still in play for today.  Harris is in play for sometime in the next 4 days.  Campbell, Greene, Abor, Perkins, and Mathews are in play for NSD2.  Not sure what the status is of Perry, Gibbs, Dudley, Lewis, and Stone.
