Any relation to Andy Samberg?

There is a bit of a resemblance and when he slipped up and mentioned playing interior and outerior across the defensive line, I did feel a little like I was watching an SNL skit from the mid/late 2000s.

That's an understandable assumption, but seeing as I had never heard of him... no.

But, I feel like after committing to the coaches, he probably went up to the observation deck of the Tower and was all

I was texting with them earlier and they all seem pretty excited.  I think this one is safe.  Zac wants to carve his own path.

Are there no tapes of him against varsity opponents?

I keed. Hook'em

lulz, I thought the exact same thing.  He looks big and really quick in his highlights, but it's really hard to tell how good he is because he appears to be lining up across from little girls.

Saw this thread bumped and assumed he was getting Champ-Lewis'd too...

I was thinking along similar lines. I thought he might have gotten:

“Exactly what was said is, ‘If you want to stay at Texas, you might as well quit football and just go to school here.’ So lot of motivation there for me.

He was motivated enough to go to an inferior conference with inferior teams and *checks notes* muster up 1/2 a sack and 16 tackles for ASU this season.

I wonder if Bo Davis did his exit interview, cause then I'm not surprised at all and wonder if Swanson left a few cuss words out lol

“Exactly what was said is, ‘If you want to stay at Texas, you might as well quit football and just go to school here.’ So lot of motivation there for me. I mean, it was probably the worst thing that was ever said to me, and it was just said so carelessly, like they didn’t care that it was changing my entire life —in two years there, I made friends, I had a girlfriend there, everything, and then they tell me that and expect me to get up and leave the next day. So, it was probably the worst thing ever ..."

What a vacuous, entitled, snowflake candyass. Wah Wah Wah... IF the worse thing ever said to you was that you can remain at an elite academic university, make incredible connections and have an alumni network of hundreds of thousands of UT graduates, that the rest of your life can be built upon a foundation of intelligence and collaborative support ... if THIS is the worst thing that was ever said to you, then go crawl back up your mother's vagina from where you were hatched, keep sucking your thumb and retreat further into the dark abyss of irrelevancy from which you shall never emerge. And many years from now ... no one will remember you. No one will ever remember any great deeds you did ... because you did not do any ... and you will remain a shadow, never remembered to even be forgotten.

Without a football scholarship, he would have had to pay his way through college. Unfortunately, that can be the deciding factor as to where you go to college. My son is applying to college this year. He is a track runner waiting to see if he would get recruited by a good d1 program with good academics. He can go to an excellent private school without a scholarship but that would cost us a lot of money, so we are steering him towards public schools that may offer athletic scholarships.

I hope he gets the chance to prove his point in a couple of weeks. Two minutes after kickoff when he's already been planted by Banks and Campbell, or trucked by Wisner, he'll realize sometimes it's better to just shut the fuck up and let your play do the talking.
