Damn, making the NY paper already

New York City?!? Get a rope!

But seriously, T&P for the Ehlinger family. True definition of agony & ecstasy in the same week.

I understand he gave up the chance to pretty much play football at smaller schools for Texas, where he knew he'd probably not play as a preferred walk on, just to be with his brother and to be a Longhorn.

Unimaginable tragedy.

This is something, that while horribly tragic, should make each and every one of us ponder our own life and families.  So many of us by Gods grace have been spared this kind of pain. I'll freely admit if something like this happened to me, I couldn't take it. My family better watch out when I get home tomorrow, the hugs and kisses are going to be off the wall, and yes, tears of gratitude will be pouring. I've know I've taken my loved ones for granted, and that stops now.

Damn, I'm crying like a little bitch.

Very well said.  I had another death that was close to me last week that was equally tragic.  My kids are in for a lot of dad time whether they like it or not.
