Fuckin'ChipBrown is a smu low-life back-stabbin' SOB that fakes his support for Texas just to keep his decent paying Austin media jobs.

Seriously, Chip?  You literally look like you did 3 lines of blow before taking your DMV photo?  You couldn't have waited 20 minutes until it was processed?

"Christian Jones struggled badly with Bonitto and other Sooner edge rushers when they didn't even have to think about run game or honoring the edge. Gave up two sacks and two holds. Instead of helping him on 3rd and long, we put our flexed TEs into the route on nearly every play. Total tight end catches in 53 pass attempts? 2 for 14 yards. Good times. Reveals a strong understanding of risk/reward. Are we under the impression that Travis Kelce is on our roster?"

Brown exposed Steve Patterson for the lying fraud he was and got that snake fired. He'll always deserve a lot of credit for it.

Brown could (and was) making things nasty for Herman.  So, yes, if you're in the fire him camp this is no bueno.

Fire Tom or Fire Chip camp?  I doubt Chip has any influence over CDC.

Let's not blame SMU for him being from Michigan.

And on further research it looks like ol' Chip was a piece of shit ATO so, yeah, he can go die in a fire. He could probably get buried if some of the brothers under him chose to come out.

Glad this hurts Herman and Orangebloods...

But never forget that FUCK CHIP BROWN is a Michigan guy, who attended SMU to play tennis.  FCB is a "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing" and cum's all over himself anytime he can hurt The University of Texas...

The Insider: Did Tom Herman just double down?
By FUCK CHIP BROWN

This week’s edition of 'The Insider' was going to lead with the growth and development of Bijan Robinson and his vision as a running back — not just when carrying the ball, but also when spotting defensive shifts and identifying blitzers — so he can help protect quarterback Sam Ehlinger in the pocket.   And then a couple things happened:  First, Tom Herman went Mack Brown circa 2013 when Brown was talking to Tim Brando on the radio about Nick Saban. Second, UT’s game against Kansas was postponed due to the Jayhawks’ COVID-19 concerns until Dec. 12, one week before the new date for the Big 12 title game (Dec. 19).

So, we’ll get to Robinson’s growth as a running back in a minute.
But first, since we have a little downtime, we probably need to look at how Herman used a five-minute rant about his job security on Monday to rekindle the very drama he supposedly despises. When Herman was asked on Monday if he was worried about rumors he’d be replaced by Urban Meyer, Herman was ready for it — as if he'd rehearsed his answer a few times.  Full disclosure: The question about his job security came from the same site that trashed athletic director Chris Del Conte, blaming Del Conte for the football team’s mishandling of The Eyes of Texas after the Oklahoma game, when multiple Texas head coaches, including 14-time national champion swim coach Eddie Reese, told me Del Conte had been clear to ALL of UT’s coaches that teams needed to stand together for the post-game playing of the Eyes, even if athletes chose not to sing.

In the course of Herman's answer, he blamed internet sites like “Orangefans.com” for using anonymous sources to stir things up, but added his players know the truth because Herman tells them the truth.  Herman said where the corrosive internet reports do damage is with recruits because competing schools can hit “print” and hand those reports to "impressionable" 16-year-olds to paint Texas in a negative light.  Herman wrapped up his meanderings, including his belief Texas has more negative things written about it than other football programs (Michigan, Nebraska and USC say 'hi'), by painting a picture of rainbows and gumdrops with UT’s administration and Del Conte. More on that in a second.

One of the problems with Herman trying to blame internet reports for his team’s lagging recruiting is that most every internet site leading into the season was throwing confetti at Texas as a favorite to reach the Big 12 title game.  And it was BEFORE the season — when those confetti-filled internet reports were glowing about this being Texas’ year — that Tommy Brockermeyer and James Brockermeyer chose not to commit to UT despite having a brother (Luke) on the team and a father (Blake) who played at Texas. It was before the season that four-star 2021 quarterback Jalen Milroe dropped the Longhorns and committed to Alabama.

Then, Texas opened Big 12 play with three straight games of sloppy, undisciplined football compounded by the team’s lack of togetherness for the post-game playing of the Eyes of Texas. At that point, every report nationally was talking about UT appearing in disarray, including Joel Klatt of Fox Sports and Brian Jones of CBS Sports suggesting Herman's future was bleak.  By the end of October, stud recruits Billy Bowman, Quinn Ewers and Phaizon Wilson had each backed out of their verbal commitments to the Longhorns.

A source close to Ewers told Horns247 the team’s lack of togetherness for the Eyes after the OU game played a role in his decommitment.  When Herman finally realized he had done more damage to his tenure at Texas by not following Del Conte’s direction to have his team’s post-game handling of the Eyes buttoned up, the rumblings about UT powerbrokers being infatuated with free-agent Urban Meyer as Herman’s possible replacement began to gain steam.  That’s also when a column and subsequent report trashing Del Conte for football’s mishandling of the Eyes by a site trying to protect Herman showed up. That site has since pointed to Del Conte not tweeting about recent football victories as a lack of support from the athletic director toward Herman.  The same athletic director who sternly called a meeting of UT’s coaches after Texas’ football game against TCU to make sure players stood together for the Eyes after seeing several football players scatter off the field as the Eyes began playing.

Del Conte even told Herman he’d address the team about the Eyes BEFORE the Oklahoma game, but Herman told Del Conte he’d handle it. And then the completely uncomfortable (and avoidable) “I Stand With Sam” movement was born out of Herman’s mishandling of the situation.  A source close to Sam Ehlinger told me this week, “That was all on Herman putting Sam in the middle of that mess.”  That source said Herman tried to leave the post-game handling of the Eyes up to UT’s team leaders.   “You don’t put that on the players,” the source said. “You go ‘Remember the Titans’ as the coach and tell your players, ‘Whatever we’re gonna do, we’re gonna do it together.’ Period. End of statement. That was a lack of leadership.”   To the credit of Herman, his coaches and players, Texas crawled out of that white-hot glare with three straight victories over Baylor, at Oklahoma State and against West Virginia. The Longhorns still control their own destiny for a berth in the Big 12 championship game if they can win out against Iowa State, at Kansas State and at Kansas.

So on Monday, when lobbed the question about his job security and dealing with rumors about Urban Meyer, Herman could’ve said something short and sweet, such as, “The only thing we’re focused on right now is going 1-0 this week.”  That would’ve kept the focus on the team’s three-game winning streak, on the improved play of his defense and special teams and the emergence of freshman running back Bijan Robinson as a potential bell cow in the backfield.  Instead, Herman doubled down, rekindling the drama surrounding his job security and making it news again.

With each win lately, Herman has added a new layer of how much his team has had to overcome this season.  Last week, he spoke of how his veteran team with 16 starters back has been like having “11 true freshmen on the field” because of a lack of reps under new coordinators due to a pandemic-shortened off-season.  This week, he added that his team has had to overcome being displaced to UT’s visitor locker room this year because of renovations to Moncrief-Neuhaus and how position meetings have been held in donor’s football suites, because of renovations to DKR.

When Herman wrapped up his job security rant by saying he had all the support in the world from UT’s administration and from Del Conte, it reminded me of when Mack Brown went on the radio with Tim Brando in 2013.  Knowing full well that UT big-money donors were interested in Nick Saban, Brown told Brando, “Nick’s not trying to get my job. Nick’s my friend. I know Nick. So I don’t have to worry about that.”  Brown knew there was substance to the Saban rumors.

Just like Herman knows there’s substance to the Meyer rumors.
But like Brown, Herman’s former boss when Herman was a graduate assistant at Texas, Herman used Monday to double down on himself, knowing that if Texas can pull off three more wins and get into the Big 12 title game, the optics of getting rid of Herman become more uncomfortable for those in charge at UT.  The more Herman can paint his team’s plight this season as having to walk to school uphill both ways in a snowstorm with no shoes on, the more he hopes to paint his bosses at UT as appearing heartless if they should decide to replace him at season’s end.

Herman has never shied away from drama. While the coach at Houston, he called into a radio show that featured Nick Wright and John Lopez and got into a protracted argument with the on-air hosts over comments they’d made about quarterback Kyle Allen’s transfer from Texas A&M to Houston.
Instead of using that same time and energy courting powerbrokers at Texas the way Brown did …
… Instead of doing everything his athletic director asked of him the way Brown did with DeLoss Dodds …
… Instead of ignoring a staged question about his job security …
Herman doubled down on the very drama he said he despised during his five-minute rant on Monday.

“We are very happy and proud of our trajectory and getting that job done here for years and years to come,” Herman said. “And, as has been told to me, so is the leadership at this university.”

FCB is an anal wart that is super infected with flesh-eating bacteria, but outside of that is just  your average douche bag.

Now  it’s time for him to return to his home under the overpass where he can ply his trade as senior semen receptacle.

I know people hated Sean Adams while he was on air for being preachy, but I could never get back into that show after he suddenly passed away a few years ago.

Same here. Sean came off as a hard nosed bulldog who only saw his opinion mattered but the guy spoke the truth and always seemed to be correct. Show was never the same.

Thanks for this @closetojumping

"The only site plugged into a thing right now and worth paying attention to is InsideTexas. 247 has nothing but mules; a degenerate, gamblaholic, alcoholic with a penchant for writing UT hit pieces and being connected to Herman and CDC through Burton, which has now vaporized; and some debatably hot, loud-mouthed, juggy broad who follows the degenerate around. Orangebloods has a morbidly obese, morally corrupt glutton who hasn't been able to get himself hoisted out of his cream gravy encrusted concrete chair in months and some dude named "Anwar" that sold his soul to the devil for access to private bawling sessions with Tom Herman. TFB knows their shit when it comes to recruiting, but they have no insights into the UT machine or the college coaching ranks in general."
