No Thiago this week because of the calf injury. Trent wanted to play on Saturday but he wasn't 100%. Bobby will be back in training tomorrow but will not play on Tuesday. CuJo will start the League Cup match. Lijnders held the press conference so he's managing on Tuesday, I assume.

Can't help but think that Lijnders is auditioning for the job after Klopp's contract runs out. Definitely not a manager-in-waiting situation but it seems like he'll get every opportunity to prove he can be the successor.

I absolutely do not want to think about the day that Klopp calls it a day.

Lijnders as Manager with Gerrard and Milner as assistants. Sorted.

I like it, but ZERO chance Gerrard takes an assistant role.

That situation is going to be TRICKY.

Yeah, It was a bit tongue-in-cheek. I'd rather risk losing Lijnders than having Gerrard go to another team.

I worry Stevie G could be our Lampard but at least Gerrard has some skins already. I worry the job might be too big for him right now but you know the cries for him to take over will be massive once Klopp announces his eventual departure.

I’d take him back in a heartbeat despite how he left. We’d have the best attack in the world if we added him.

Where would he play? He's lazy as fuck. Can't see him backtracking when Trent bombs forward.

Really looking forward to seeing Conor Bradley. Gordon is the most exciting prospect in our system but Bradley's not far behind, and he could easily play his way into Trent's backup. Because as of now that's...James Milner.
