Nice home schedule the horns have for next year!!!

Getting away from the Left Behinds really spiced up that home slate....

Meh, it's one year like how 2023 was pretty dull with Rice, Wyoming, Kansas, BYU, Tech, and KSU. The best opponents records wise were KSU, Kansas, and Wyoming. We only host 3 SEC home games because we're the home team for Texas OU.

2026 will have us hosting Ohio State and some combination of 4-5 games with Tennessee, Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss, South Carolina, and lesser opponents like Mizzou or Auburn.

We have been ordering Alamo Bowl tickets since its inaugural season in 1993 - same seats on the 45 yard line, row 5 in the upper deck opposite the press box.

This year is the last for us since we have no interest now after UT is no longer in the Big 12.
Not caring to see BYU vs Prime Time’s Buffs, we decided to give our two paper ticket (plus coupon for a free game program) away.
Just went by the neighborhood Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to inquire if any members would like to have them.
Some of the young guys there said they we going to the game so we gave the tix to one that knew somebody else who wanted to go.

At least you will be able to Remember the Alamo. Until dementia sets in, that is.

They are going to renegotiate the conference tie ins after next year, so it might be a SEC game in 2026.

My son and I have attended 13 in a row, starting with RG3 (Baylor), once we moved to SA. Many have been great games to include great comebacks.

Griffin and Hunter will be two Heisman Trophy winners that will have played in the Alamo Bowl, so that brings extra excitement to the game. Usually it’s one of the most well “attended” non-NY6 games annually.

The poster above is correct in that the Alamo Bowl committee will have free range going forward for invitees, not participating in the playoffs, so great match ups should continue.

Rutgers might defeat big 12 power ksu?

Rutgers is objectively mediocre. I took KSU in the confidence pool simply thinking that they’d be ready in the most KSU of ways. Nope. The big WRs for Rutgers, plus their backs, appear to be the way too much. It’s getting ugly.

Why is "attended" in quotes?
