Or…. Your coaches are just assholes. How hard must it be to spin some of this shit?

Holy shit balls, batman.... that sounds atrocious.

They are just a few key injuries away from having to pull another Wake Forest style forfeit dodge during the regular season. Sounds like half the starters are either injured or wearing bubble wrap lol

I believe Bubble Wrap is an NIL sponsor!

I hope to live long enough to see a day in which googly eyes on aggy statues are a regular thing. It's something that only their fanbase will care about and the innocuous prank will likely lead to their insolvency as they spend millions into trying to googly-eye proof the campus

Maybe they all still have the "flu"

So they make up for not going to football games by having the largest cheer roster in the country?

Their enrollment push to be UCF-on-the-Brazos means they should have the largest roster at pretty much anything they do. Not the best (note that they won the "Intermediate" division), but definitely the largest.

Maybe it's best they don't put the cheerleaders on the sideline.

A couple of jumps and the stadium would tumble to the ground.

Alexa, play blandstorm.

Oh well, now we’ll see the googly eyes move on the statues outside.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M football team held its 10th out of 15 allotted spring practices Tuesday on the two outdoor Coolidge Practice Fields.

GigEm247 and the other media members in attendance were only permitted to observe the first three periods (approximately 15 minutes) of practice. The players were in full pads, but while the media watched, they were not put in any competitive settings that involve heavy contact like 1-on-1 drills, 7-on-7 work and 11-on-11 action.

Here are some notes and observations from practice.

Participation
The Aggies held a scrimmage last Saturday, and they are clearly still recovering. Nearly half of the projected starters did not participate in practice Tuesday.

Three new starters – wide receiver Moose Muhammad III, linebacker Chris Russell Jr. and safety Jardin Gilbert – were not dressed out. None of them limped, wore a cast or brace, or showed any other signs of a serious injury.

Defensive end Malick Sylla was among new reserves who did not dress out. He notably had a brace around his right knee. Jordan Spasojevic-Moko, who has lined up as the second-team left guard, was not seen at practice for the first time this spring.

Below is a full list of players who missed practice or were limited because of injuries or other reasons.

Out for the spring: Starting left tackle Trey Zuhn III (torn labrum surgery), starting center Bryce Foster (torn ACL/with A&M track team), backup right tackle Hunter Erb (shoulder surgery), backup center Matthew Wykoff (unspecified reasons), early-enrolled freshman offensive lineman TJ Shanahan (torn ACL) and tight end Max Wright (unspecified reasons).

Still out after missing a previous practice that the media observed: Receivers Evan Stewart (missed three straight media-observed practices) and Ainias Smith (missed two straight media-observed practices), offensive tackle Josh Bankhead (missed three straight media-observed practices) and cornerback Tyreek Chappell (missed four straight media-observed practices).

Out for the first time, at least among the practices that the media observed: Receiver Moose Muhammad III, offensive lineman Jordan Spasojevic-Moko, defensive end Malick Sylla, linebacker Chris Russell Jr. and safety Jardin Gilbert.

Participated in a limited fashion: Safety Demani Richardson wore a yellow, no-contact jersey during practice again. Tight end Jaden Platt was seen doing some sideline work but participated in position drills.

Returned to practice after missing the most recent one that the media observed: N/A.

Disclaimer: I did not see cornerbacks Deuce Harmon and Jayvon Thomas at practice, but I did not have enough time to double check during position drills.

Lining up
The first three units on the A&M offense – but not the defense – ran multiple plays against air. The Aggies also simulated special teams. There were several differences in how A&M lined up compared to previous media-observed practices.

With Stewart, Smith and Muhammad out, the Aggies only had four scholarship receivers available. The starting receivers were Noah Thomas, Jalen Preston and Micah Tease, while the backups were Raymond Cottrell and walk-ons Pierce Turner and Jacob Brasher.

A&M also mixed up its quarterback pecking order again, lining up Max Johnson as the starter while Conner Weigman worked with the second team. Spasojevic-Moko not practicing meant Aki Ogunbiyi received reps as the No. 2 left guard. The Aggies only had nine scholarship offensive linemen available.

Here is how the offense lined up:

First-team offense: Quarterback Max Johnson, running back Amari Daniels, wide receivers Noah Thomas, Jalen Preston and Micah Tease, tight end Jake Johnson, left tackle Reuben Fatheree II, left guard Kam Dewberry, center Mark Nabou, right guard Layden Robinson and right tackle Chase Bisontis.

Second-team offense: Quarterback Conner Weigman, running back Rueben Owens II, wide receivers Raymond Cottrell, Jacob Brasher (walk-on) and Pierce Turner (walk-on) tight end Donovan Green, left tackle Colton Thomasson, left guard Aki Ogunbiyi, center Remington Strickland, right guard John Sabra (walk-on) and right tackle Dametrious Crownover.

Third-team offense: Tight end Theo Melin-Öhrström, running back Le’Veon Moss and a handful of walk-ons (not enough players available to have 11).

Notes and observations
Disclaimer, along with a general observation: Of the five spring practices that the media has observed, none of them were as uneventful as this one. In the three periods we watched, A&M spent more than half of that time stretching, running plays against air or doing light special teams work.

That being said, it seemed noteworthy how intense some of the coaches were in this practice. Considering the Aggies will have their second spring scrimmage Saturday, multiple coaches clearly wanted to motivate the players before that important practice. So they were louder. They were more instructive. And of course, they used more colorful language.

When teams are deep into spring practice, or even preseason camp, it is not uncommon to feel fatigued and lose focus. So to keep the players engaged, coaches often look to spice things up. That dynamic appeared to be the case here.

Offensive line observation: For multiple practices, Bisontis has lined up as the first-team right tackle. But it is important to temper expectations here. I would not count on him being a quality right tackle in year one.

Now, that is not to say that Bisontis can’t eventually develop into an effective player at that position, or that he would not hold his own at guard early in his career. He undoubtedly brings some solid potential. When watching his high school film and observing him in practice, though, Bisontis currently has the look of an offensive guard who needs time to grow into a right tackle. More practice reps in pass protection, along with more time in the weight room, should help Bisontis. Offensive linemen are obviously far from finished products as true freshmen.

Fortunately for the Aggies, they will not have to start Bistonis once Zuhn returns and Fatheree slides to right tackle. But with its lack of depth at the tackle position, A&M would likely have to turn to Bisontis or another unproven player if an injury occurs.

Injured players observation: It has been refreshing to see how some of the injured players have remained engaged during practice despite not being available to participate. Bankhead, for instance, hovered around the offensive linemen during position drills and occasionally offered guidance to players. Smith, Stewart, Muhammad and Gilbert were among other injured players who were seen encouraging teammates throughout practice.

Special teams note: Running backs Rueben Owens II and Le’Veon Moss, and defensive back Bryce Anderson were returning kickoffs during practice. Kicker Randy Bond looked accurate again on his field goals, going 6 of 6 with a long of about 43 yards.

247 spring practice update

Their Heisman Trophy QB is second team now, that is how good their QB room is now.

Nothing wrong with 3rd and 4th from the right. The rest of them I hope are getting good grades and are real team players.

Did some internet sleuthing since I was legitimately unaware that these ladies existed. Makes perfect sense not to have them on your sidelines at football games. I am sure the cute ones have rejected all of the milkmen at least once.

One of the best (and most literal) examples of "cheerleader effect" I've ever seen. Brunette front-and-center is doing all the work.

And here I was, worried about whether or not the college cheerleader that you are fictionally interested in banging would be smarter than you.

In my younger days, I would have been happy to fuck every single one of these gals.  No hesitation whatsoever.
